Leeland Jones video post on August 30, 2019, transcribed with photos:
I venture to say 80 to 90 percent of you watch prophecy videos for the sole purpose of finding out when the Rapture is. Don’t be surprised if things don’t go the way you think. However, in this video we’re going to talk about the Coming of the Son of Man.
The Sign of the Son of Man, His coming. When He comes, He’s coming in the Clouds. There’s 4 Angels standing, there’s 4 Cherubim, 4 Living Creatures, and they have the face of Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle, and there’s a Command of the Archangel. We’re going to talk about that Archangel/Eagle.
There is a Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle, and we’re going to talk about the Eagle and as it relates to prophecy and the Coming of the Son of Man in the Clouds in this video.
Let’s get right into it. What I’m going to do is I’m going to make these notes available to you. I encourage you to just go to the description field of the video, click on the link of the notes, and have those available. If you do, it’s going to make this a lot easier. This is a whole study and a whole playlist called the Rapture Series. We’ve got lots of videos on this, we’ve got lots of notes on this, and that link will be there as well so you can see all the previous research we’ve done.
{Link to the Notes are also posted at the top of this blog post, and the Rapture Series and the King sits on the Throne playlist links are at the bottom of this blog post.}
The word Eagle only appears in the New Testament, in the Greek, a handful of times. I believe it’s five times? But where it does, it appears in very significant places. And we’ll see every single placement of the Eagle relates to the Coming of the Son of Man or the Eagle’s gathered, the gathering on the Eagle’s wings.
So when we look at the Coming of the Son of Man, let’s look at Matthew 24 and the verses here.
{2:10 min mark} We are here in Matthew 24 and we can see an expression throughout here. Actually, it’s seven times. Verse 27, as a lightning comes out of the east and shines to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
So as we begin here in verse 27, we can clearly see that the verses from here continuing all talk about the Coming of the Son of Man. The next one we have is verse 30, then shall appear the sign of the Son of man. And they shall see the Son of man. What? coming in the clouds.
After it stated this, the Coming and the Sign of the Son of Man there in Matthew 24:27 and verse 30, it continues throughout. So what we’ve done is just gone ahead and marked them.
Verse 37, as in the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. They knew not when the flood took them, so shall be the coming of the Son of man. And then verse 44, be ready for such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
Then in Matthew 25:1, we have the Parable of the 10 Virgins. And then verse 13 says, watch for you know not the day. You don’t know the day!
- You don’t know the day, nor do you know the hour wherein the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 25 then goes into the Parable of the Talents. This is all the Elect. Matthew 25:31 Then the Son of man shall come in His glory, with His holy angels with Him. We’re going to look at the holy angels. We’re going to look at the Eagle. And He shall sit upon His throne in glory.
- It’s going to be His Throne in Glory that’s going to come in the Clouds.
There you can see seven times throughout the latter parts of Matthew 24 and 25, we have the Coming of the Son of Man. Now the one we want to take a look at is the Two.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
If we go to Luke’s account and we look at Luke, we can see the same thing.
Luke 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Now the thing I want to point out is verse 37. The Disciples clearly understood what the Lord was saying, He’s talking about His coming.
Luke 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
Gathered together is the Eagles, is the Angels when He gathers the Elect. It’s a very similar word in the Greek, this Gathering together, when He gathers the Elect.
Now you might be wondering, what is the significance of the Field, of the Mill, of the Bed? Well, there is significance to it. We’re going to get into it later in the video, but there’s our first example of seeing the Eagles gathering.
- We could clearly see that it’s talking about the Son and Man coming in the Clouds. When He gathers the Elect, He’s going to send His angels. And these Angels are expressed by Eagles.
Now, let’s also look at Revelation and see the Eagles. They’re mentioned many times. We’ve showed you, we’ve tried to depict and explain the Pattern of His Throne. The Pattern of His Throne is 4 Cherubim: Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle, and 4 Wheels. These are the Winds.
And there’s a slightly different orientation around the Throne when we see the Throne in Revelation chapter 4. John also sees 4 Living Creatures, but they’re different than the ones that are in Ezekiel chapter 1. Ezekiel chapter 1 is the diagram we just showed you.
- They are also expressed through the same Faces. In Ezekiel, each one has 4 Faces, Face of a Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle. In Revelation there are 4 Creatures; Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle as well.
- But in Revelation they have six wings and in Ezekiel they have four wings. They’re not exactly the same.
However, they are doing things in the book of Revelation which are very important, very significant as we come to this moment in time of the Coming of the Son of Man. They are first mention, our first, once John has the door of heaven open to him, the first thing he sees is the Throne. He sees the 24 Elders and then he sees the 4 Living Creatures; Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle.
And many of you are Christians who go to church and you sing the song, Holy, Holy, Holy. Well, that’s what they’re singing.
So we have these 4 Living Creatures, and what’s interesting there it says it’s a Flying Eagle. And that’s going to be important because each one is just a Lion, it’s an Ox, it’s a Man, but the Eagle is a Flying Eagle. And we’ll see the Flying Eagle as we go. When we get to Revelation chapter 7 we see something very, very interesting.
Revelation 7:2 is describing this Throne, the Throne of the Lamb. Because in Revelation 6:16 it says, the face of Him. The person of Him that’s sitting on the Throne, and the Lamb. So that Lamb and that Throne continues into Revelation 7:1 where we have 4 Angels standing. We know those 4 Angels standing are the 4 Cherubim. And there are 4 Winds. We know the 4 Winds are the 4 Wheels. So that Throne is the one in Ezekiel.
- There’s a different Throne in Revelation 7 than there is in Revelation 4 and 5.
We get to Revelation 7:2, it says, I saw an angel ascending from the east sun, having the seal of the living God, and cried. Then what happens is we have something interesting. This word cried. And guys, what I’m doing is I’m doing some work and research with my friend that speaks Greek. Not only that, he has a Greek that’s in modern Greek.
So the modern Cypriots in Cyprus and in Greece speak of modern Greek. Then there’s an ancient Greek, which is closer to what the New Testament was written in. So we’re studying the ancient Greek and the modern Greek to best understand these words. And there’s really no way to really capture some of this without someone with this type of expertise.
So we’re going through these verses, and he showed me something fascinating. And that is this word Cried has more of a sense of like a bird, a scream, a screech from a bird, from like a crow or an Eagle. So to him, when he’s reading it, Cried isn’t just like, okay, a human raising a loud voice. It’s a screech. It’s a scream. And if you look at the Strong’s Concordance, you’ll see that’s exactly what it says. It’s a crow. It’s a screech from a bird.
- This is the Eagle of the 4 Living Creatures making this Declaration, this Cry.
But that’s what this Cry is in Revelation 7:2 with the loud Voice.
Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
So why is this Angel crying? Why is this Eagle crying with the loud voice? Stop, withhold. Well, we know that there’s something that withholds in 2 Thessalonians 2, it says that withhold.
{2 Thessalonians 2:6 And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time.}
You can see an Angel right here in Revelation 7 withholding the Winds. Don’t let the winds blow. Why? Until we have Sealed the servants of God on their foreheads. So here we can see that this word cried is an Eagle.
And one of the things in this research as we do this, you can see when I use my tablet, I have apps that I’m showing on the video. The app I’m showing you next is called Bible Hub. This is the one I’m going to recommend to any of you who’s interested to get Bible Hub and get the interlinear. We’re going to show you that now and you’re going to see why it’s so important.
{Bible Hub Interlinear: https://biblehub.com/interlinear/}
{12:41 min mark} Here we are on Bible Hub and we can see we’re at Revelation 8:13. This is something that I discovered and I was kind of shocked to see. What you can see here, verse 13, John says, I looked and I heard one eagle flying.
- Some of your translations, including the King James, doesn’t have Eagle here, it has Angel. When we researched this, we read the ancient text of the Greek, it says Eagle. So that is proper.
I don’t know what happened there, because the Eagle is talking. John says, I looked, I heard one eagle flying, midheaven saying. So the Eagle is talking. And I don’t know if someone just read that and said, Oh, that’s weird. Let’s not put that in. But this is what it says. This is what the Scriptures say.
Now we have another Eagle. I looked and I heard one eagle flying. Remember, we saw him Flying. This is one of the Eagles with six wings or the Living Creatures. eagle flying midheaven, saying in a loud voice. And what is he saying? He’s saying, Woe, Woe, Woe, to those dwelling on the earth. Because of the remaining phonon (voices) of the trumpet (salpingos).
So what you can see here in this app, you can see in orange is English. Just above it is the Greek letters. And then these transliteration, like how we could pronounce this. If we don’t know what the letters are in Greek and how to pronounce them, it gives it to us just above it so that way we can see them.
those dwelling on the earth by the remaining. Now there’s different voices. There’s a voice of a Trumpet here, that’s what we can see. Phonon (voices) is like phone, of the trumpet of the three angels being about to sound (salpesian). So this is the actual Blowing of the Trumpet. And then there’s four Trumpets that have blown prior to this, and it’s talking about the next three.
- But what is happening is we have this loud voice of this Angel, but it should say Eagle and it does in this version.
So now we have this cry of the Eagle. It’s an eagle flying mid-heaven, saying, Woe, Woe, Woe, to those dwelling on the earth.
{15:56 min mark} The next time we see Eagle mentioned in the book of Revelation, we see it in Revelation chapter 12. Now pay close attention to this, I’ll try to make this really simple.
When we get to Revelation chapter 12, the previous chapter is chapter 11. In it we see the Two Witnesses. In Revelation 12:1 we see the Sign of the Woman clothed with the Sun, and the moon at her feet. Then it says in verse 6 that she goes into the Wilderness for 1,260 days.
- So the Sign of the Woman appears, then there’s 1,260 days. That of course is three and a half years. When those days are expired it says in Revelation 12:14, that she is given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly. And then it talks about a time times and a half a time. Which is another three and a half years.
- So after three and a half years the Woman is given two wings of a Great Eagle. Why does it say Great Eagle? Well we can see this Great Eagle as it talks about two characters: King Nebuchadnezzar and Pharaoh, in Ezekiel chapter 17.
- And these two wings are also on the lion, in Daniel chapter 7. The two wings in Daniel chapter 7 on the lion are plucked. And it would appear that this lion is like a king of Nebuchadnezzar. And those of us watching we can see Donald Trump fulfilling this lion with two wings of an eagle.
So what happens? It’s like during this time of the lion, his wings are plucked. They’re plucked off this Great Eagle and then they’re given to this Woman.
Now the other thing that we have of course is we have this time period where it says specifically 1,260 days. In Revelation 11 we know that the two witnesses they finish their testimony. How long is their testimony? 1260 days. And what happens is after three and a half days their dead bodies lay in the street. And when they lay in the street it’s their dead bodies, their carcasses, lay in the street.
We have this word in Greek for their dead bodies, patoma, approximately how you pronounce that. Then what happens in Revelation 11:12, they hear a great voice from heaven. You see these Commands of the Angels, this Great Voice of Heaven that says what? Come up here.
It says, Come up here, and they ascended into heaven in a cloud. You can see all this symbolism is all tied together. After 1,260 days the Great Voice from Heaven says to the 2 Witnesses, Come up here. And after 1,260 days the Woman is given 2 Wings of a Great Eagle.
Now this actually ties into Matthew 24:28. We looked at Luke’s account where it says, Where the body is, the eagles will be gathered. But in Matthew 24 it says something different. It says, Wheresoever the carcass is (or the dead body is), there will the eagles be gathered together.
Why does it say dead bodies here? Isn’t that interesting? Well, these Eagles as they gather, it appeared these Eagles are gathering the 2 Witnesses. When the Voice says, Come up here, it’s the 2 Eagles that gather the dead bodies of the 2 Witnesses and bring them to Heaven {Revelation 11:12}. That’s right what we can see in Matthew 24:28.
We have a clear connection by similar time, 1260 days. We have the Wings of a Great Eagle being given to the Woman. This is amazing because this would really tie in many, many prophecies that we’ve wondered about. This is amazing, all by the Eagle.
Now the Eagle also is part of the Living Creatures as we’ve shown you in Ezekiel chapter 1. Ezekiel chapter 1 gives us this diagram that we’ve shown you many times. Actually the prophecy continues over Ezekiel chapter one, two, and three. In it, we can find a Rapture.
- Ezekiel is Raptured. There’s different types of Rapture and the type of Rapture Ezekiel experiences is also called a Translation.
In Ezekiel 3:8, Ezekiel is Sealed. Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads. This is the Seal that Ezekiel is receiving against those with the Mark of the Beast, because you could see that their words, their hard language, and their wicked hearts are like a scorpion.
Then it says in verse 12, And the spirit took me up. Rapture. And I heard behind me a voice of great rushing, blessed be the glory of the Lord in his place. 13 And I heard the noise of wings. So these are the Living Creatures. They touched one another in the noise of the wheels. These are the Living Creatures, these are the Wheels. 14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away.
- He’s being Translated. So the Spirit took him up, but he’s taken physically.
and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me. 15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar. He’s physically Translated to wherever he was, to Telabib.
- This is another example of the Living Creatures part of a gathering, it’s like the Eagles are gathering and they’re moving people to and from different places. From the earth to heaven, from the earth to the earth. So this is Rapture.
Let’s look at a couple more verses here and we can see where these Eagles are related to the Coming of the Son of Man. Jeremiah 4:13 Behold, he shall come up in the clouds, in his chariot.
- This is His Chariot, His Chariot is His Throne. His Chariot is made of Cherubim and Wheels.
and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled. That’s Jeremiah 4:13 clearly describing the Cry of the Eagle. Woe, Woe, Woe, unto us. And here, the Chariot as He comes in the Clouds. Then verse 19 says, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
It’s also in the 7th Trumpet with the 2 Witnesses, 1260 days, that’s the 7th Trumpet where it says, Come up here, after their testimony. So hopefully you can see how all this is connecting together.
Jeremiah 4:21 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?
- You can see we’re setting the Standard. We’re raising the Banner and you can see we did that a year and a half ago we taught this stuff: Blowing the Trumpet; Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle; Assembling the Camps.
Hosea 8:1 says, Set the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
Again, we have this Trumpet of an Eagle.
I’ll also mention Job 39:27 is very mysterious, but it’s talking about this. Once you understand these prophecies, many other verses in the Bible make sense. Job 39:27 Does the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? Like Heaven. verse 30 and where the slain are, there is she.
What’s the slain? That’s the 2 Witnesses. Remember we saw their bodies, their corpses. Many other translations will say things like vultures or other birds of prey, but it’s not in the Greek. It’s clearly the word for Eagles.
- So it’s Eagles that Gather. Some might have looked at that like these are vultures and birds of prey at Armageddon. And I think that’s why they used the word vulture there in the translation. But it’s not, it’s not an accurate translation. We have this Command of an Eagle.
Now let’s go and look at the app again and let’s look at Bible Hub at the interlinear. And now we’re going to look at a famous Rapture verse.
{26:29 min mark} 1 Thessalonians 4:16 because Himself the Lord with a loud command with the voice of an archangel. Hopefully this is beginning to make more sense as this Command here, you can see is like the Living Creatures Commanding, making a blast, a Command of a Voice of an Archangel. and with the trumpet (selpingi) of God will descend from heaven and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we the living – remaining together with them will be caught away.
Some of you may perceive this to be the word harpazo, but it’s not, it’s harpagēsometha. It’s actually another word. I’ll try to find out more on this. The root word is harpazo, but there’s another word part of it. There’s probably some special meaning here, we’ll see if we can do some more research.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 in the clouds for the meeting of the Lord in the air.
- Now this word Air is the root word for Eagle. So we have another connection here with the Eagle, but you can see that this is the Command of the Archangel. This is the same thing that we’re showing you this Command of the Eagle, of the Cherubim. Remember the 2 Witnesses, it said, Come up here. That’s what this Command is.
{29:11 min mark} So what have we learned? We learned that in Matthew 24, seven times it talks about the Coming of the Son of Man. Then one of those examples is the Sign of the Son of Man in Heaven. We learned that there are Two in the Field, one has taken the other left. Two grinding at the mill, one has taken the other left. Two in one bed, one has taken the other left.
Now, when we looked at that before, what does that mean? Why do we have a Field, Grinding, and a Bed? Well, these are the Excuses to the Marriage Supper.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is in Luke 14:18. They were invited. And one said, I brought a piece of ground. Let me go see it. Well, that’s the Field. I bought five yoke of oxen. That’s Grinding like a Mill, you use a yoke on the oxen to grind the wheat, and that’s Luke 14:19. Then Luke 14:20 I have married a wife. That’s the Bed.
What’s happening is, why is one taken in the other left? Excuses!
When someone says, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and you must pursue it with all your heart, you must sell all you have and give to the poor, you will come up with Excuses. And your Excuses will be the very reason you find yourself left. That’s why this is going to happen, it just might not happen to you.
As it keeps going you can see the Elect in Matthew 24:43 is the Goodman of the house, and He’s talking about the hour of the Son of Man. Then Matthew 25:1 is the Virgin’s. This is 144,000. verse 13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man comes.
The Servants are given Talents in Matthew 25:14. Matthew 25:31 When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the Throne of His glory. That’s clearly what Matthew 24 is talking about.
However, the account in Luke shows us this body. Luke 17:37 Where, Lord? And He said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together. They’re going to Gather the Elect. That’s all Matthew 24.
{31:41 min mark} Then we get to Revelation. In Revelation 4:6 we have Living Creatures; Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle sing, Holy, Holy, Holy. Revelation 6:6 there’s a Voice in the middle of the Creatures. We actually didn’t mention that before but that’s where they measure the shekel and they measure the wheat and the barley, that’s the Harvest. We know what the shekel is, that’s how you measure the wheat, they have the shekel.
We’ve shown that the Shekel of the Sanctuary.
The Living creatures are involved in measuring who is taken, who is left. Who is in the Harvest. Who is in the Wheat Harvest, who is in the Barley Harvest.
Then Revelation 7:2 Cried, ekraxen, it’s a birds piercing cry, a “cow”, to cry loudly with the urgent scream our shriek, like an Eagle. That’s what we see in Revelation 17, this is what we are saying, Don’t let the Winds blow. Don’t let the Trumpets blow, until we have Sealed the servants of God on their forehead. There’s a delay!
There’s a loud voice to the 4 Angels, those 4 Angels are 4 Wheels. Revelation 7:2 a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea. That’s the 1st Trumpets. Then we get to Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard one Eagle flying mid heaven, saying in a loud voice, Woe, Woe, Woe, to those dwelling on the earth because of the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels, being about to sound (salpizen)!
Now we get to the 7th Trumpet, we know this because this is Revelation 12:6, and the Woman fled in the Wilderness. What? 1260 days. verse 4 she’s given 2 Wings of a Great Eagle, that she may what? Fly! That’s the same Flying of the Eagle that we keep seeing. One Eagle flying, etc.
If we go back one chapter, Revelation 11:7, the 2 Witnesses finished their testimony after 1,260 days, their dead bodies are lay in the street. verse 12, and then there’s a Great Voice that says, Come up here! That’s the 7th Trumpet.
This account here of the dead bodies we saw are the dead bodies in Matthew 24:28 Wheresoever the dead body is there the Eagles gather together. The Eagles gathering together are Gathering the 2 Witnesses and they ascend up into heaven in a cloud.
We also see this in Ezekiel 3:8, Ezekiel is Sealed, he sees the Living Creatures and he’s Translated. Remember that he was taken physically and he showed up in Tel Aviv by the river Chebar.
Then we have Jeremiah 4:13 He shall come in the Clouds, His Chariots. This is the Chariots.
This is His Chariot right here. His Chariots as a Whirlwind, His horses swifter then Eagles. Woe to us. But in the Trumpet, the alarm of War in the banners.
Exodus 19:4 I bear you on Eagle’s Wings and brought you to Myself. I don’t think we mentioned that one earlier, but that’s what happened when the Lord descended on Mount Sinai.
Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an Eagle.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout (Command), with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (harpagēsometha) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air (aera, the root word for Eagle): and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
There we have it ,we can see the Eagle, we can see the Patterns that we have shown you previously.
I do encourage you as I’ve mentioned many times to watch these videos, to understand what’s happening. It’s all about the King. It’s all about His Throne, He’s coming in Glory. The Son of Man is Coming. He’s seated on the Throne. He’s coming with His angels, in power and great glory. But one is taken, and the other is left.
Thanks for watching. Another verse when I’m always saying to you that you, Watch and pray that you be accounted worthy to escape all these things, and you would stand before the Son of Man, this is what it’s talking about.
I will have links in the description field for the King Sits Upon the Throne. I’ll have links on the previous video Don’t let the Trumpets Blow. And guys, He’s coming soon! Amen.
{We are now at Armageddon and we are still waiting for the fulfillment of the 6th Seal, the 7th Trumpet and the 7th Bowl, with the Son of Man comes in the Clouds. To learn more, check out Leelandjones.com and scroll down on the Home page to What’s New.}
