I got another part in our series on the House of David.  And I know I’m going to be sharing a lot of things throughout this series, many of them are kind of deep things, Mysteries of Deep Revelation and many amazing things.

And I want you to know that you can participate in all the things I’m sharing with you. There are things to do!  There are things that are Roles that we have as Kings and as Priests, there are of marvelous things.  But, for many of you are going to struggle with your ability to do them, you just are. But of all the things I share with you, this is one that you should not struggle with.  And if I say anything throughout this series and you don’t get a single thing, I encourage you to get this message.

  • This one is of the utmost importance, because we have to maintain our intimacy with the Father.  We can be about doing good Works and things like that.  But without intimacy with Him, it’s really all for naught.

So that’s really the point of all this, is that as you have intimacy with God, then you realize the responsibilities you have as His son. And then as His son, you realize that you must have intimacy with Him to maintain those responsibilities.  So they work on a scale, and there’s balance.

But this one is a message, and the thing the Lord spoke to me very detailed and specific.  And as you know, most of you are doing this, and so I am proud of you for that.  But, let’s just get into it. I am going to title it: The Father’s Desire. The notes I have here {Notes are at the bottom of this blog}.

But basically what we’re going to look at, is we’re going to look at the connection of 3 Stories.  All of them are very familiar to you.  And that is:

  • the LORD walking with Adam and Eve in the Garden,
  • Abraham waiting at the Tent Door,
  • and then The Father of the Prodigal son.

And basically the LORD spoke to me, that this is His standpoint. From most of our standpoint of Spiritual matters or different things, is as a human kind of, you know, looking up at God and things like that. But  many of the things that we’re going to view, we are going to view from God’s point of view.  Of course Jesus gave us many of those through His parables and everything.

But if we connect these 3 Stories, we can actually see the Father’s point of view with mankind and His love for us. So again, of all the revelatory things that I share with you, they’re really amazing! You can do these things.

But just like the LOVE Chapter, 1 Corinthians 13, unless I have love, it’s all for naught.  And that LOVE is ultimately your Love in the 1st Commandment, your Love with the Father. And you can speak to Him, you can speak to Him face to face.  That’s really what this is all about.

But if you only do this, and you don’t take responsibility, you’re really not going to grow.  You’re going to be a baby and you’re going to be about, “Me! Me! Me!  I need milk!  I need my diaper changed!”  And you’re really not going to grow as a son.  So that’s where the responsibilities are important as well.

So, let’s look at this. If you are listening to this message and you want to click on the Evernote attachment {link at the bottom of this blog}, that’s fine, bring it up.  Don’t go ahead of me, you know, wait, wait, for the notes.  I could just email you the information, but remember,

  • Faith comes by Hearing!  And it’s the Sound and Revelation of the experience that I’m coming from, that is going to Quicken your Spirit to this message.

{Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?}

So first off, we know in Genesis 3:8 God said, “And they”, Adam and Eve.  “And they heard the voice of the Lord walking in the cool of the day.”  It’s Interesting if you break that down and you look at it, it is what it says; The Voice of the Lord is walking.  I mean, how does the Voice Walk?  But, that’s exactly what he’s saying.

So what’s happening here, is certainly they heard the Voice of the LORD!  But the LORD Himself is Walking in the Garden!  And they heard His Voice in the Cool of the day.   And we’re going to look at that, about what that means.  And then in verse 9 it says,  ‘And the Lord called Adam and said, “Where are you?”

Now, there are certain parts of this message that the LORD wanted to give to me in other language.  A kind of Prophetic or Poetic Language, and I did my best to do that in here.   And, this is one of them, I just wanted to read this to you:

“Our wonderful Abba Father walks the Garden, can you hear His footsteps? Can you hear the sound of His feet walking the pathways, the bridges, the autumn leaves rustling under His feet, the noise of the wind as it blows through the leaves…..almost like an Applause…… as He passes by?  The sound of the Father walking, He says, “Adam, where are you? I thought we had an appointment?”

So I believe that, that Hebrew word for the word that we see Cool, and the Lord walking in the Cool of the Garden, is Ruach which is Spirit.  And if you look at it, it’s like Walking in the Garden in the Spirit of the Day!  That’s a completely different meaning than Cool of the Day.

And so what I believe is that Spirit of the Day, is an actual Time!  It’s an Appointment!  And God met with Adam at a specific Time, every single Day.  And I believe He still does!  I believe that The Father waits in the Garden for you to show up every single Day.  And not only you, all 7 Billion of us.  Wow!  So let’s look at this.

And you can just see this throughout so many things that, that the LORD desires for intimacy and fellowship with His children.  Even Jesus saying, ‘Look, I stand at the door, and knock: if you hear me call, open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors sit alongside me at the head of the table, just as I have conquered.’

{Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.}

  • So this is the same thing.  It’s the Father, it’s the Lord Jesus, the Call for intimacy.  And the sad thing is, is that the Lord Jesus has to Know on the Door, because He is not in the Room!
  • We want to let Him in, and we want to visit Him every single day, and sup with Him.

And the next part, I want to quote a brother Bruce Allen, in his book.  And I just thought this was great!  I wanted to share this.  I’m going to go through a number of themes along this subject line. But, there was a busy man, and the Lord Jesus visited him, and said:

“Son would you just spend time with Me as a friend? I don’t have anyone who will just spend time with Me as a friend. Everyone comes with a petition, with intercession, with various requests, but they never just want to be with Me for who I am.”
Oh my goodness, isn’t that the LORD?
“This man began to ask the LORD, “How’s your day been, Jesus?  What do you think about this, or what do you think about that?”
Wow!  That is completely contrary to everything that we do!  We think that the LORD is Santa!  We pop on His lap, we have our list,  “Okay, #1.  God, I want this!”  And you go down your list!  “Give it to me, by___?  See Ya next time!”
But what it you sat on His lap and said, ‘Lord, how’s Your day? What are You doing today?”  What if you did that every day?  What if you took time every single day to say, “You know what, the Garden is still available to me. I can go there, and I can sup with the LORD!”  And so I encourage you to do that!
The LORD gave us this almost a year ago!  And so every day I take a cup of coffee, He doesn’t always drink it, but He will, someday:)  And you take a cup of coffee, you pour 2 cups.  You put a cup by you, and you put a cup by another chair on the table, and you say, ‘Okay Lord Jesus, how’s your day?  “Heavenly Father what are you doing this day?”  And have a cup of coffee!  Isn’t that simple.?
But you can also see your Garden. You can also be quickened as you do this to the fact that you have a Garden in Heaven. The Garden of Eden is still there, in Heaven, and you have a section of it.  Or you know, you have a place, and you can sit with the LORD on a park bench or on a swing.  You can Walk with Him in your appointed Time, every single Day.
And so, those of you that are watching on YouTube, and you’re not part of the group and everything, I encourage you to seek the LORD on this.  Those of you that do know me and are part of the group, we can go together and we can engage this. There’s many things and many connections to this one message.
But this is the Oneness that Adam shared with the LORD.  And then Jesus restored that when He said, ”Father I pray that they would be One; even as we are One.”  So then you begin to develop this Oneness, this intimacy with the LORD.
{John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.}
{11:11 min mark} So that’s the Garden, now let’s look at a couple other examples of what it’s like for the Father.  So that’s us, we go, we engage the Garden, we go to be with our Heavenly Father. Now let’s look at what it’s like for the Father.  What’s His point of view on this matter?  Because look, this is unique!
* His relationship with Mankind is Unique.
{Psalms 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him?  and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 3 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and has crowned him with glory and honour.}
The Angels even said, ‘What is man that You’re mindful of him, that You crown him with glory? And that you visit him?”  This is what it’s talking about.
* The Father visits Mankind!  He visits them everyday in the Garden, and He waits for you!  He sits on the bench and He waits for you.
* If you don’t show up, He comes back the next day!  He waits for you.
But let’s watch what He actually does. So, when we look at it, unfortunately we name these parables that Jesus said, right?   So we focus on the Prodigal Son. We focus on the son, right?  But it’s really not about the son!  In fact, I am going to title this message, The Father’s Desire.
* Because, it’s not the Prodigal Son, it’s the Father’s Desire for the son.
* So even our whole mindset of everything is completely backwards, when it comes to many Spiritual matters.
{Luke 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father.  But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.  22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.  And they began to be merry.}
So when we look at it, it says in Luke 15:20, “And he arose and came to his father.” So obviously the son is coming back.   “But when he was a great way off, his father saw him, had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”  Wow!
So that should be the focus of this parable!  NOT the son, and you know, eating with the Pigs!  Look at this: “And he said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. Bring out the fatted calf, kill it; and let us eat, and be merry.”  Wow!
So what’s happening here?  Well, the son is coming back!  But why is he coming back?  He’s coming back to the Father’s House!  But he’s coming back to the Garden.  And what’s happening is his Father is sitting there every day waiting, looking a far off!  How does He see him a far off?
* The Father is waiting for you, every day!  He loves you!  He loves you!  Oh, if you knew!
Now let’s look at the similarities of this with Genesis 18, with Abraham sitting at the tent door of Mamre.
So it’s a type of the Father.  So what’s happening in the parable in Genesis 18, is Abraham is a type of the Father.  So the connection is we have the Father waiting in the Garden, “Adam where are you?  This is our appointed time, and why aren’t you showing up.”  Right?
Now we have the Father’s Desire parable, let’s call it that.  Now let’s look at more details of what it was like for the Father.  So the Father is a type of Abraham in this case. And in Genesis 18:1 ‘and Abraham sat at the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door.’
Can’t you see it’s the same thing?  It’s the same thing as the Prodigals, that He’s sitting at the tent door, He’s waiting, and He runs! I have many things I’m gonna go through and breakdown.  You know, I have to teach, we have to have our Points: 1, 2, 3. But watch this, listen to this in the Amplified Version of Isaiah 30, verse 18.  It’s the same thing.
“And therefore the Lord (earnestly) waits (expecting, looking, and longing) to be gracious to you; therefore He lifts Himself up, that He might have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you.”
Remember the LORD, He lifts Himself up in both cases, in the parable. And Abraham.  He’s waiting at the tent door, and when He lifts Himself up, He runs!
“To be mercy, to show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied)  are all those who (earnestly) wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him (for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship)!”
So what is this saying?  This is saying that the LORD waits at the tent door, and you are to wait as well!
The waiting should come together.  So the LORD is waiting in the Garden for you every Day.  And then you must show up.  And when you show up, you must speak, you must come to grips with this thing and work it out.  Wow!  “How does this work God?”
{16:32 min  mark} Now, let’s look at some interesting things at Genesis 18, of what Abraham does.  And this is all lining up with the Parable.  So Wee, Lift up your eyes.  So what I am saying to you, you must be able to see.  You must be able to lift up your eyes above your circumstances of your life, the excuses that you come up with of why you can’t do this.
Look, all this stuff I’m telling you, if you look and you say, “I can’t do that!”  Well, that’s a bad attitude. And you’re right, you can’t!   You should have a good heart and a good attitude, and say, “You know what, I want that! But I don’t know how to?”  That’s a good attitude!
Then say, “Okay God, how do I do this?  How do I sit in the Garden with You every day?”  If you’re doing this and then you have blockages, you have to come to grips with, “Why am I having a problem, sitting with the LORD in the Garden?”  This is a marvelous Blessing!
 “Adam, where are you?”  So lift up your eyes!  The LORD is still asking the same question.  To Him, there’s no new thing under the sun.  He just does the same thing, over and over!  So He sits, He waits!   So just like Abraham saw, He lifted up His eyes anticipating His son.  He’s waiting every day with anticipation that you are going to show up.  That you are going to be there in the Garden. Earnestly waiting, expecting, longing.
#2  Compassion. The Father has compassion!  Like Isaiah 30 says, He’s been waiting, expecting for the chance to show mercy and grace to you.  Oh, the Compassion, the desire that you finally showed up!
{Isaiah 30:18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.}
Look, God is a whole lot better than me.  I wouldn’t bother with you for that long, isn’t He amazing?
And then #3, He runs!  Both Abraham and the Father, they run when they see the son!  So look, it’s not that you have to, you know……He runs to you!  And He is going to Run to you with this Message!
* He’s going to run to you with this chance to have Fellowship with you every Day!
* But you have to be Consistent! You do so many things!  You’re so busy!  You have so such stuff going on!  Why won’t you do this?
And look at this, #4:  ‘He fell on his neck and kissed him.’  Both times,  Abraham, the Father and the Prodigal!  The sincere desire of the Father is fulfilled in a big ol’ bear hug.  Imagine that, our Daddy falls on our neck when we simply answer His call, “Where are you?”  Oh, this is so marvelous.  Oh, this make me want to cry.
In Genesis 18, Abraham runs and bows, which in Hebrew is shachahwhich.  Watch this, which is translated: worship, 99 times; and bow, 31 times!  It literally means to prostrate oneself before a superior. What’s interesting is that the Greek word for worship is proskuneo, which means to kiss.
We might look like this, when we bow in worship the Father.  When we bow and we Worship Him, right?  When we Worship.  So here it’s the mystery, in that the Abraham here is a switch, it’s turning, so instead of him being the Father, it’s us!  When we bow and prostrate before the Father!
* So when we Bow and we Worship the Father, the Father responds with hugs and kisses!
So the Hebrew word is to Bow for Worship, the Greek word is to Kiss!  So when we Bow, He Kisses!  This is worship in Spirit and Truth, this is what the Father craves!  He said, He craves this worship! So He can respond with hugs and kisses on you!  This is Marvelous!
The Robe and Ring . When the Father puts the robe on the son’s back, and the ring on his finger, He restores him in righteousness and authority. These are also promises to the Overcoming Saints. In Revelation 3:5 He says, “He that overcomes will be clothed in white raiment. “
{Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.}
And, Revelation 21:7 “He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God and he shall be my son.” So, the Inheritance of all things, is the Ring!  The Ring that is a Seal, an Authorization of Documents of things from the Father.
This speaks of the Authority of the Ring. Like Joseph being 2nd to Pharaoh, he was given a robe.  So we’re given a Robe of Righteousness! Clothed in Righteousness, and a Ring!  So when you have intimacy with the Father, and you restore this place in the Garden, you will walk in Authority and Dominion.
Then, now you know I have a whole thing on this.  #6  Shoes- Washes His Feet.  So what is this?  So the shoes speak of the Walk of the Overcoming Saints.  In Revelation 3:4 “they shall walk with me in white:”  They will walk with me in White!  “for they are worthy.”  This is a Walk in White,  a Walk of Righteousness!
* A shoe given to be Worthy, to Walk Righteous. Before the son can put on the shoes, the Father gives him, he first needs his feet to be cleaned.
In Genesis 18:4 Abraham washes the feet of the guests. This is a type of Christ, He washes the feet of His disciples {John 13}.  Wow!   It’s only through Christ that we can put on the Shoes.
You see, your feet are Dirty!  So Abraham washes the feet of the guest.  And Christ fulfills that by washing the feet of the Disciples. Wow!  And we are to do the same.  I might have another piece on washing feet, it is amazing.  I’m not saying we are going to do this, I mean, you should in a way, but washing the LORD’S feet, it’s a marvelous thing!
The calf, and be merry!  Point #7:  Both the Father and Abraham are quick to prepare a calf they had ready in anticipation of the guest.  So the Father is ready!  The Table is set for the Bride in Heaven, He’s ready everyday!
And Abraham said, “comfort your hearts”.  The Father said, “kill the fatted calf, and let us eat, and be merry.” I believe this is more than just a one time event that we anticipate as the Marriage Supper!  So it’s a Practice.  So we’re Practicing within the Garden, having intimacy with the LORD, of the great and marvelous promises He has for us!
So, what am I saying?  I propose that the Father’s desire is more than a one time event of acceptance of the son at Salvation. I believe He daily asks, “where are you”, at the Appointed Time.  He set the Appointed Time in the Beginning, at a specific Time of the SPIRIT of the Day. And He waits earnestly, longingly, expectantly looks for you every day in the garden.  Wow!
So here, again I want to say this like a poem to you:
“See the Lord sitting at the park bench waiting for you?
Our wonderful Heavenly Father sits in the garden, waiting everyday for you to come and to sit down and fellowship. Everyday He comes, He sits desiring to talk face to face like Moses.  He waits whether you show up or not. He still calls you to this place in the garden asking “Adam, A’dam,  where are you?”
After waiting for a while when He sees you’re not coming, He gets up and leaves, but comes back the next day again, asking, “Adam where are you?
Who will fulfill His desire for fellowship? Who will allow Him to be gracious to them? Don’t hide from Him. Don’t cover yourself with fig leaves and excuses. Run back to the Father in the Garden, every day!”
