Alright, so we are going to do something a little different, see I got this stick (musical instrument) set up.  And the title of this is Towla the Crimson Worm.  And you might be wondering, ‘What is he talking about? Well it says in Psalm 22:6 ‘But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.’ And it is a Psalm speaking of the Messiah Yeshua.

But the word for Worm there in Hebrew is Towla.  And a lot of times the word Towla is synonymous with the word Crimson, or red.  So I am going to go through this, I’ll explain where I am going in a minute.

{Job 25:6 How much less man, that is a worm (rimmah: a worm)? and the son of man, which is a worm (towla or tola: worm, scarlet stuff)?}

But Job 25:6 says, ‘How can a man, that is a worm.‘ This is a different Hebrew word for worm meaning: rimmah, be justified in His sight?  And then it says, ‘and the son of man, which is a worm {towla}.’  So here you have these 2 Scriptures of the Son of Man, of the Messiah, as Towla. It’s very strange.

But let me tell you the story about this Worm.  Instead of just telling you the story, I thought I would do it kind of like with music.  So the worm is Coccus Ilicis.  And I am just going to tell you about it, tell you about this, it’s actually a female worm.

(1:57 min mark…playing music with the telling the story) “When the female Worm is ready to give birth, she climbs a tree.  She attaches her body so firmly and permanently, that she won’t leave.  The bond that she creates between her body and the tree is so strong, that if you try to remove her, she’ll die.

Then she deposits her eggs on the tree, directly below her body, protecting them from the elements and harm.  And the eggs hatch and they need a food source, but they already have one, they feed on her body.

And when she dies, she secretes this highly concentrated red dye, that stains the tree and her young. Her young are Marked with this dye/die {Blood} for life! They eat of her flesh and drink of her blood. {John 6:53-57}

Her body is scraped from the wood by Dye traders, and she’s crushed to extract.  So they extract the Scarlet for clothing. And after her death, in 3 Days, her body loses it’s pigmentation, she turns white as snow, then falls like snow to the ground.”

So what are we saying here?  We’re saying that this female Worm is the Lord Jesus.  And He births His Church. He births His children and their birthed between her body and the wood of the tree, which is the Cross. And it’s His Sacrifice for dying for us, that we would eat His flesh and would be stained by His Blood, and then be made white as snow.

Isaiah 1:18 ‘Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson {towla or tola: worm, scarlet stuff}, they shall be as wool.’ And that crimson there is Towla, the same word for Worm.

Revelation 7:14 ‘And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’

So that is Towla the Crimson Worm!

So we take Him, we take what He has done for us, and we wash our robes.

And we’re made white and clean. Amen.
