Leeland Jones video posted on August 7, 2025, transcribed with photos:

We’re continuing our series on the Breastplate and the Camp of the Saints. Hopefully you follow along with the previous videos. This video is a part of a long playlist called the House of David. Also the 144,000. What we’re trying to do is explain these mysteries by comparing scripture with scripture. This one we are going to focus on the time of David, David bringing the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem and the Camp of the Saints as it relates to that.

Now, in the last video with the Camp of the Saints, we showed you how the order of the Camp of the Saints starts with Jacob when he gets his new name, Israel, and he forms two camps, with his two wives. We begin to get this order, this tribal order. We could see how this tribal order was happening there with Jacob even in Salem.

What happens is then the children of Israel go into Egypt. They go into Egypt and they come out with the Exodus. They enter the Promised Land through Joshua and they go into their tribal land allotments. Then we have the time of the Judges. Then they asked for a king. They get king Saul but it was too early David was to be king. It was too early. He wasn’t ready yet. Then we finally get David.

Now, when the children of Israel enter the Promised Land and they get their land allotments much of the time the ark of the covenant and Moses tabernacle was in a place called Shiloh. They have their land allotments. In fact, I have an old video which I want to show you which shows the map. At the time I was in Shiloh and they had a good map and I’m explaining the tribal allotments and everything.

{old video with Leeland explaining the map} “Here’s an excellent map. Really, really awesome map. We can see here the southern border of the Promised Land. Really, really identified very well. Now what we also have is the northern border. Up here is Herman which is Mount Hermon. This is the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan River coming to the Dead Sea. This is Jerusalem. This is Mount Nebo where Moses views the Promised Land. Amazing map. We have En-gedi, the Dead Sea, the area of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have some of the tribes, some of the tribes their Promised Land was on the eastern side of the Jordan River and that’s what this is outlining with Gad, Reuben, and Manasseh here. This is the ancient time of Joshua and the place of the Promised Land. Now where we are right now is a place called Shiloh. What they’ve marked here is this is Jericho and Gilgal. The ark of the covenant came here went to Shiloh. Then it went to Kiryat Yearim and then eventually to Jerusalem. The route they first came down here and this is Kadesh Barnea, the strife.

In fact, let me get a closeup of this and take a look at this southern border because we want to point out the mountain range. See the mountain range going around. That is the southern border and it’s in this area that is Kadesh Barnea where we showed you. They strove with Moses and they did not enter here. They could have entered and entered from the south but they did not enter here because Moses struck the rock instead of spoke to the rock and then they were routed around. They came to Nevo mount or Mount Nebo. Moses viewed the Promised Land and then he died on this side of the Jordan.

Let’s just look closely here. This is the northernmost of the Promised Land and then the rivers coming down to the Sea of Galilee, Kineret and the Jordan river coming down. The Jordan river then enters the Dead Sea. At the Dead Sea we have Gilgal, we have Jericho and we have Jerusalem.

This is the route of the ark. Where we presently are is Shiloh and then from Shiloh it came down to here Givon and Kiryat Yearim and in that the Philistines took it and then eventually it comes to Jerusalem. There’s Bethlehem. This is an excellent map to show you this southern area border.”

{5:58 min mark, back to present video} There we can see with that map the areas, the important areas, of the children of Israel entering the Promised Land, Joshua’s conquest, but you can see that some of the tribes they went on the eastern side of the Jordan river. This was not the land allotments that Moses gave in Numbers 33. We’re going to explain the reason for that in this video. It’s very exciting.

All of the things that we are talking about is all about the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. His revealing. That’s what Apocalypse is, it means the Revealing. In His revealing, these are the elements that He comes with. He is the Messiah, Anointed One.

Now David was a king and he also was anointed. David was anointed in a pattern, in a construct, of the Lord Jesus Christ going into the Millennium. That’s very important for us to understand so that the things that we see in the book of Revelation some of them relate to David.

Now, the children of Israel did not have an established capital city where the king would be and where the ark of the covenant would be until David. When David comes he establishes Jerusalem. He establishes the capital city. What happened is all the tribes had their land allotments, but the tribe of Levi has to go wherever the ark is. Once the capital city is established, then David establishes finally the camp of Levi. The camp of Levi would be there, established in the capital city, Jerusalem. This is what David begins to do.

In First Chronicles, we’ll kind of pick up at chapter nine, David begins to put this order together of the priests in preparation of bringing the ark, from I forget Kiryat Yearim or Givon I can’t remember where it was, but anyway they’re going to bring up the ark and they bring up the ark with celebration going into Jerusalem. This is in chapter 13.

Then what happened is David realized we’re doing this wrong. They put the ark on a wagon. It tipped over. Uzziah tried to steady it and he died. David is asking, “Why is the Most High killing people in my worship service? I must be doing something wrong.” So the ark of the covenant stays with Obededom and he begins to research and figure out, how do we actually do this as we’re doing this wrong and the Most High is killing people in my worship service. He basically gets the pattern, construct, of the Temple.

Now while this is happening, the kind of king and dissipation of Saul is taking place. Saul hadn’t really unified all the 12 tribes and so in First Chronicles 12 the tribes start coming to David. The tribes come to David. This is the Camp of the Saints. David is establishing the Camp of the Saints in the tribal land. Remember we showed you how the Camp of the Saints can be New Jerusalem. It can be the camp of the children of Israel in the wilderness. We showed you all those times it happens and how it’s going to happen in the Millennium. Then our final is New Jerusalem. So they begin to say, “Okay, David is the king and these are the troops from the various tribes and we’re coming under David.” That’s happening in First Chronicles 12.

In First Chronicles 13, David goes to bring up the ark. We’re doing this wrong. We go back to the drawing board and then we get the ark coming in First Chronicles chapter 15. In chapter 15 the ark is coming. David puts together this clear order of the singers and musicians and Levites and everything in the perfect order going back to the way that the Most High has shown Moses and now establishing it in a fixed location where it’s not traveling. The ark is no longer traveling in the wilderness.

Within this David gets other revelation, further revelation. So like when we see Christ, He has the key of David. That word key of David is referring to Isaiah 22:22. He has the key of the House of David and that word for key in the Hebrew appears in First Chronicles 9 where the construct of everything we’re showing about the Camp of the Saints, about New Jerusalem, David is getting the next download of revelation to establish the Temple. Not only that but it’s also a type of shadow of Christ establishing the Temple in His second coming.  David has interesting things happen.

As we go through we have seen the great celebration as the ark comes to Jerusalem, chapters 15 and 16. I think it’s chapter 20 he gets the crown and he has the precious stones. What we’re going to suggest is that there are precious stones in the high priest breastplate and those are in the Lord Jesus Christ, His crown. Lord willing we’ll do a video on just His crown, but David gets this crown and when he does again it’s a type of the crown of the Lord Jesus Christ which He gets when He’s on the white horse in Revelation 19.

Then as we continue to progress David is establishing the priesthood, putting everything in order, and we get the 24 elders. In First Chronicles 24 we get the Sar Elohim. Sar, princes, of Elohim, of the sanctuary. These are the 24 elders that we see around the Throne in Revelation 4. So that heavenly order David is getting the download and he is establishing them. He establishes the singers and musicians. He establishes the porters and he establishes the military.

When he establishes the military he establishes the 144,000. That is in First Chronicles 27. What happens is there are 12 months in the year. Each month has 24,000 troops. Why is that 144,000? It’s 24,000 and it’s supposed to be 12,000 per troop. There are 144,000 that are wise. These are the five wise virgins, five are foolish. It’s 10 total. Half is wise, half is unwise. There’s a wise 144,000 and an unwise 144,000. David has both in 12 troops.

Then what happens is we get the 12 apostles. The 12 apostles are listed there in First Chronicles 27.  What we’re saying is, it might take you a moment so go back and listen to what we just did, we did a quick snapshot. Don’t worry, we have notes and we’re going to show you all this here. What we’re trying to say is that this is a perfect order and understanding to understand the book of Revelation, of those things it’s talking about with the wedding supper and everything that’s happening, the garments, is all being fulfilled with an understanding of what happened with David.

The Camps as they relate to David’s Tabernacle.

Now here we’re showing a representation of the city of David and David’s citadel. David set up a Tabernacle. He did not use the tabernacle of Moses. He establishes David’s Tabernacle in the worship on Mount Zion.

As we go through this, it’s important that we remind ourselves of the elements of New Jerusalem as they relate to what we can see also with David. So, let’s do a review.

The Tabernacle. Revelation 21:2 John saw, “the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven.”  Remember until David, we didn’t know Jerusalem was going to be the capital City. “prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle {σκηνή skēnē in Greek} of God is with men, and he will dwell { σκηνόω skēnoō } with them.” Verse 10 and John saw “a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.”

  • Now remember, New Jerusalem is at the end of the Millennium, the end of the Millennial Temple in Ezekiel.

But let’s look at the elements of New Jerusalem and remind ourselves that we’re going to find these as well with the order of the camps.

  • 12 GATES v12 “had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon,
  • 12 CAMPs/TRIBES which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:”
  • CARDINAL POINTS  v13 “On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.”
  • 12 APOSTLES Rev 21:14 “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”
  • Thickness of the wall 144 Cubits v17 relating to the 144,000
  • 12 GEMSTONES on the Foundations
  • GENEALOGY v27 only those could enter “they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”

Now, it’s important that we look at all these because we will find all of these things happening when David establishes Jerusalem as his capital, as a type of the Lord Jesus Christ in His second coming. So at this point, the ark had not a permanent location. Therefore, the tribe of Levi did not have a permanent location, nor do they because their possession is YHWH. David establishes their camp and their order in Jerusalem.

1 Chronicles 9:18 “were porters in the camp of the children of Levi. 19 they are keepers of the gates of the tabernacle:”  Remember we saw the gates?  “and their fathers, being over the CAMP {מַחֲנֶה maḥăneh} of YHWH {of יְהוָ֔ה}. ”  That’s what we learned before: the Camp, maḥăneh.

1 Chronicles 9:18until then they were in the king’s gate on the east side as the gatekeepers of the CAMP לְמַחֲנ֖וֹת maḥăneh of the sons of Levites. 19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites,” Remember the Korahites? It was the Korahites that carried the ark with Moses.  The Korahites, were in charge of the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, as their fathers had been in charge of the CAMP {מַחֲנֶה maḥăneh} of  YHWH {יְהוָ֔ה}, keepers of the entrance.

  • So the Tabernacle itself is also the Camp and the Tent.

Then it talks about Phineas at the same time as Moses. He was a gatekeeper of the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. All these were chosen as what? Gatekeepers at the threshold. So they’re what? At the gates.

1 Chronicles 9:22 “These were reckoned by genealogy.” Remember how it said before reckon by genealogy. Everybody’s name had to be written on the book. The people when they come into this order they have to prove their genealogy and their identity by going back to their fathers.

  • Same thing in New Jerusalem. All names must be written in the Lamb’s book of life.

1 Chronicles 9:22 David and Samuel the seer did ordain (foundation יָסַד yâsaḏ) in their set office. 23 So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of יְהוָֹה yhwh, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.

He established the Cardinal Points.

1 Chronicles 9:24  “In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south. 25 And their brethren, which were in their courts רוּחַ rûaḥ, were to come after seven days (Sabbath Ezk 46:1).” from time to time with them. For these Levites, the four chief porters

  • So now we get the order of the Sabbath and the gates which we also see in the Millennium. There were four chief porters or gatekeepers just like we know Lion, Ox, Man, Eagle; East, West, North, South.

The Key of David.

1 Chronicles 9:27And they lodged round about the house of Elohim, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning.” Opening here in the Hebrew is מַפְתֵּחַ map̱ṯêaḥ. This is only used three times. Here, Isaiah 22:22 and Judges 3:25.

  • Here in Isaiah 22:22 it is the Key of David, which Christ is quoting that He has the Key of David to the church of Philadelphia {Revelation 3:7}.

So that’s the Key. We have the Gates, the Cardinal Points. We have the names written on the registry and the camp of Levi being established in Jerusalem. Also in addition to what’s happening is the other camps when the children of Israel had their land allotments, they are already in their land allotments and they begin to unify the military forces under one leadership, under David. He brings together the 12 tribes. They are all listed and the number of troops of with them is listed:

CAMPS join David

1 Chr 12:19 of tribes joining David, 1 Chr 12:22 For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host/camp מַחֲנֶה, like the host/camp מַחֲנֶה of God אֱלֹהִֽים

  • v24 The children of Judah,
  • 25 Of the children of Simeon,
  • 26 Of the children of Levi,
  • 27 Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites,
  • 28 Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s house
  • 29 of the children of Benjamin,
  • 30 of the children of Ephraim,
  • 31 half tribe of Manasseh
  • 32 the children of Issachar,
  • 33 Of Zebulun,
  • 34 And of Naphtali,
  • 35 the Danites,
  • 35 of Asher,

The camps in this case are something like this where you have the tribe and its location.

Then we have something that is interesting. The tribes begin to report their troops and they come under David and the leadership in Jerusalem. But we also have Manasseh, Gad and Reuben. They’re on the east side of the Jordan river.

  • Now this is not the land allotments that Moses had prescribed in Numbers 33. They asked to go there and they stayed. There is prophetic significance to their being outside the land.

They form a number. You can see the Reubenites, Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh are 120,000 and we see this twice.

1 Chronicles 26:32was Jerijah whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.”

1 Chronicles 12:37  “And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.”

  • 120,000, what does it mean? It represents the 10 Lost Tribes.

{120,000 being the 10 lost tribes of the 144,000, 10 x 12,000 = 120,000}

These tribes were not in the land allotments properly prescribed by the Most High unto Moses. They’re outside. They are representing the lost tribes of the 144,000 because their exact number is 120,000 which is 10 x 12,000 = 120,000.

Now we can begin to see that there’s a perfect order here of understanding that the nations that are outside of those land allotments that is who the 10 lost tribes are.

Now, we continue to explain the 144,000 in 1 Chronicles chapter 27 where we have the 24,000 by month. 24,000 x 12 {months} = 288,000 and that is the total. There are 144,000 wise virgins and then there are another 144,000 foolish virgins. So we get the total where we get 24,000 per month. You could see there are 12 leaders over a division of 24,000.

1 Chronicles 27:2-15

  1. Jashobeam first division 24,000 in the first month
  2. Dodai is his division 24,000 of the second month;
  3. Benaiah in his division were 24,000; for the third month.
  4. Asahel in his division were 24,000, for the fourth month,
  5. Shamhuth in his division were 24,000, for the fifth month,
  6. Ira in his division were 24,000, for the sixth month,
  7. Helez in his division were 24,000 for the seventh month,
  8. Sibbecai in his division were 24,000, for the eighth month,
  9. Abiezer  in his division were 24,000, for the ninth month,
  10. Maharaiin his division were 24,000, for the tenth month,
  11. Benaiah of Pirathon in his division were 24,000 for the eleventh month
  12. Heldai in his division were 24,000, for the twelfth month

Who is over these troops? It is the 12 Apostles. Christ said to Matthew in Matthew 19:28, “Verily I say unto you {the 12 apostles}, That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

  • The 12 Apostles are judging the 144,000 of the 12 Tribes.

Here you can see Rueben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Nephtali, Ephraim, Manasseh, Benjamin, Dan, Gad, the tribes listed. Then there’s a Leader that’s over them. We see an absolute perfect order where we had 10 tribes coming from the nations and then we have the wise 144,000 being half of the 288,000 ruled by the 12 Apostles. All that is in 1 Chronicles 27. The order that we see there is very similar to what we see on the Breastplate.

Now we also want to talk about David because when he brings the ark of the covenant and the worship into Jerusalem, he does so with the priestly garments. Let’s review Revelation 1:13, “Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps {or the chest} with a golden girdle.

  • We also can call this the Ephod, the golden girdle.

Now in 1 Chronicles 15:27, And David was clothed with a robe {מְעִיל me‘îyl στολή stolḗ}.” That’s a long robe that goes down to the feet.  “of fine linen {בּוּץ bûṣ βύσσινος býssinos}, and all the Levites that bare the {אֶת־ Aleph Tav} ark, and the [psalm] singers {G5568.4 ψαλτωδοί}, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David wore an ephod {אֵפוֹד ’êp̱ôḏ G2186.5 εφούδ} of linen {בַּד ḇaḏ βύσσινος býssinos (2 Sam 6:14)}. 28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets {or shofar}.”

  • There we can see David is arrayed in garments very similar to the Lord Jesus Christ who’s clothed with a garment down to the foot and gird about the paps with a golden girdle, with an ephod.

The Crown. Then what happens is in 1 Chronicles 20:2,

David took the {אֶת־ Aleph Tav} crown of their king.”  King of Rabba of the Ammonites. “from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold.” That was the weight of the crown.  “and there were precious {יָקָר τίμιος} stones in it; and it was set upon David’s head.”

This is again in the pattern of the Lord Jesus Christ of his garments. What we believe is happening is that the 12 gemstones are on the crown of the Lord Jesus Christ so that He doesn’t have a high priest breastplate with the 12 gemstones, they’re on His crown. Just like you can see the precious stones are on the crown that we see with David.

Then we have the Gemstones in 1 Chronicles 29:2, ‘onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of diverse colors, and all manner of precious stones, and marble, or alabaster, stones in abundance.’ So David is getting all these stones for the Temple and for the priest’s garments. We also know that these are the precious stones in New Jerusalem. Onyx stones, very costly.

What have we learned? We have learned that the Camp of David also includes the garments of the Lord Jesus Christ, the ephod, the garments, His crown. The 12 Apostles when they rule the 12 tribes of Israel, they are ruling in Jerusalem. We can see them in the House of David. You can see that you have the 24,000, but that’s both the wise and the foolish together at this point. It’s not half like we see in Revelation 7 and 14. We see the perfect order of the lost 10 tribes. We see all the camps coming together under David, the camps joining David. We see the same order of what we see in New Jerusalem which David is establishing when he brings the ark of the covenant into Jerusalem.

Thanks for watching. What we’ll do is these notes we went over them quickly but we are also providing them in the description field of the video so that you can further study these things. It’s a marvelous time that the Most High is revealing these mysteries. This is part of our playlist that is continuing on the Breastplate and this playlist is going to be called, Show the Design, Measure the Pattern. In all these messages we’re getting we want to include David. It is more involved than some of the other ones even in the Exodus.

The voice came from the throne saying, ‘Praise our God!’
