"None that put their trust in Him shall be overcome." (1 Maccabees 2:61; John 3:14-16)

Leeland Jones video posted on January 6, 2026, transcribed with photos:

The Priests and the Order of Melchizedek. We are really excited about this message. What’s happening is we have a message that we’re doing in our series on the Ezekiel Temple dealing with the sons of Zadok and as we explain the concept we actually need to take a step back and ask ourselves who is Zadok? That’s what we’re going to discuss in this video. We’re very, very excited.

We’re at a place and at a location which is like a white mountain. It’s super cool. It reminds me of Jerusalem. In Jerusalem there’s a white sandstone that exists. This is not sandstone it’s a harder material almost like a white slate, but anyway it’s like this white mountain. All the houses are made out of white and it reminds me of Jerusalem.

I just wanted to show you what the place looks like. This is a whole mountain of it. The sun isn’t really shining on it but it is white, the whole thing is white, and it keeps going and going. That’s one mountain face.

It’s a light color and it goes all the way to the other side. You can see it is white stone and it’s amazing here in the village. See all the white houses.

They made the houses of this material. It reminds me of New Jerusalem. Super cool. I wanted to share that with you.

This is a lot of content that we’re going to try and fit into this video but I don’t want to make multiple parts. I can’t edit all of this out, it has to be included so here we go. I say this in every video but I really mean it this time I strongly encourage you get the notes because there is a lot here, I’ve realized that.

As we go, and we want to follow up this video with a video on the sons of Zadok, we first must understand who is Zadok. That’s what we’re going to spend our time with.

Zadok is a name of a priest and he comes up with David, but what is going on here? In our series, we are on a series where we’re talking about the Ezekiel Temple.

  • We arrive at this group that Christ Himself designates, they’re called the sons of Zadok.
  • He has another group which is called Levites, which is the 12,000 of Levi of Revelation 7.

But who are the sons of Zadok and what is this Priesthood?

As we go through Ezekiel, Ezekiel chapter 43,  Aleph Tav {אֶת־} Yahweh, His glory fills the Temple, and this is called the Sign of the Son of Man with the cherubim that Ezekiel sees back in Ezekiel chapter 1. He sees that glory fill the Temple in Ezekiel 43:2, “and His voice was like a noise of many waters.” This is just like His voice in Revelation 1:15. “And there was a voice of the camp as the repeating voice of many. And the ground shone forth as brightness in the glory round about (ABP Ezekiel 43:2).”

Alpha and Omega, or Aleph Tav {אֶת־} in the Hebrew, is speaking. This is evidenced by the repeating number of times we see the Hebrew Aleph Tav {אֶת־} used in these passages. We want to read these and make it very clear:

  • that it is the Lord Jesus Christ, He is Alpha and Omega, He is Aleph Tav {אֶת־}, His glory filled the Temple. He is speaking to Ezekiel and He is speaking directly, picking up in Ezekiel chapter 43.

Now prior to this, Ezekiel chapter 40 to 42, the angel was giving Ezekiel the measurements and information but we then get Aleph Tav {אֶת־}, He addresses Ezekiel directly and this is important because He gives us two groups that are part of the Priesthood. One of the groups is called the Levites and the other group is called the sons of Zadok.

Ezekiel 43:7 “…son of man, Aleph Tav {אֶת־} place of My throne {וְאֶת־}, and the Aleph Tav {אֶת־} place of the soles of My feet.” This is the Aleph Tav {אֶת־} place of His throne {וְאֶת־}, and the place of the soles of His feet. This is very holy.

Ezekiel 43:8  “…Aleph Tav {אֶת־} My holy name.”  Verse 10  “…show the house to Aleph Tav {אֶת־} the house of Israel…Aleph Tav {אֶת־} Temple….measure Aleph Tav {אֶת־} pattern.”  Alpeh Tav {אֶת־} Adonai YHWH continues in verse 18 where He introduces us to the sons of Zadok. “..thus says Adonai, Aleph Tav {אֶת־} YHWH, These are the ordinances of the altar.” Verse 19 “And you shall give to the priest the Levites who are the seed of Zadok.” Here we’re seeing the seed of Zadok.

  • Aleph Tav {אֶת־} is telling us about the seed of Zadok.

Then in the next chapter, Ezekiel 44:15, “But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept Aleph Tav {אֶת־} charge of My sanctuary.” Verse 16 “They shall keep Aleph Tav {אֶת־}  the charge.”

What is happening is Aleph Tav has given instructions to certain people and they have kept those instructions. A place where you see this is in Zechariah 3:7, “If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My charge, then you will judge My house, and shall also keep My courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.”

Aleph Tav is telling us, Ezekiel specifically, about the sons of Zadok.

We will cover the sons of Zadok more completely in the next video but we just want to introduce where this is coming, where are we starting this. We’re trying to understand who the sons of Zadok are and who is Zadok himself.

There is a prophecy of a priest that replaces the previous priesthood. The ark of the covenant was in Shiloh and the prophecy indicated a future restored priesthood that would come to support the Messiah, the Anointed, which we learn is his name to be Zadok. The priesthood, cutting off the old line of the priest through Eli.

There is Eli and basically what happens is Samuel rises up at the fall of Eli and the fall of his two sons but there is a prophecy here about this priesthood that will come in the future.

  • We want to pay close attention about this prophecy because it’s actually not Samuel, it’s another priest that will come before the Messiah.

We find this prophecy in 1 Samuel 2:35, “And I will raise up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in My heart and in My mind: and I will build him a sure house.” Now keep in mind at this point there was a structure there but it’s not the official Temple yet, so this priest will be involved with building the house. “…and he shall walk before My Anointed” In Hebrew Mashiach and in Greek Christos. “for ever.”

  • This was fulfilled with Zadok.

Zadok is the priest with the anointed king David that puts in place the order of the Temple. What happened is David didn’t necessarily say this is the high priest. He had two priests, one was called Zadok and one was called Abiathar. Both Zadok and Abiathar were operating as priests. It was hard to know which one was the high priest and they continued together working in tandem until Solomon.

{9:38 min mark} Then in Solomon, Abiathar sides with David’s adversary and son Absalom. Abiathar sides with the revolting son of David, but Zadok doesn’t.  When Solomon gets anointed he’s anointed by Zadok the priest and what Solomon does is he disposes of Abiathar to fulfil the word. Here it is, 1 Kings 2:27 Solomon expelled Abiathar from being priest unto Yahweh; that he might fulfil the word of Yahweh, which He spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.” Verse 35Zadok the priest did the king put in the room of Abiathar.”

  • Zadok becomes the priest replacing him, and it’s telling us that this was fulfilling the prophecy of 1 Samuel 2:35.

Now there’s a lot more going on in this prophecy that we need to pay attention to.  So back to 1 Samuel 2. It doesn’t name Zadok by name but he would go before the anointed. He goes before David and he also goes “before” the Messiah, Christos, in the form of John the Baptist which we’ll see later.

He goes before with other critical details in this prophecy, namely the shekel of the sanctuary and the talents. Now I don’t have the time to go into all this. If you have followed us, you know what the shekel of a sanctuary and the talent is. I’m not going to explain those here but we find these here interestingly enough in the prophecy of Zadok the priest.

We know Christ granted talents to His servants. They were granted more to the good and faithful servants and then there were the evil servants. We also have something called 20 gerahs in a shekel and this represents the redemption process, which we’ll explain a little bit later.

In this prophecy one says to Zadok, 1 Samuel 2:36 “…Put me, I pray you, into one of the priests’ offices.” In the Septuagint this word is hierateia which is used in Luke 1:9, “the custom of the priesthood”.  24 elders or courses of priests, ephemeria in the Greek.

{12:38 min mark} This word is used in Hebrews 7:5, of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood. Zadok was thus involved in the casting of lots for the priesthood with David in the kingdom priests.

What happened is there were names of priests, 24 names were chosen, but the order 1 through 24 wasn’t known. What they did is they cast lots. Zadok was involved with that. We know with Christ it’s a similar thing where there is a white stone that He gives as authorization to the priesthood.

They came with a piece (1 Sam 2:36). What happened is with the prophecy in 1 Samuel 2, they came with a piece, agora in the Hebrew. What happens here is this word is a little bit interesting but the Septuagint looks at this word as obolus or a gerah in Hebrew. They didn’t look at it as agora they looked at it as a gerah of silver. This is really important to us because this proves a gerah is the 20 gerahs that’s in the shekel of the sanctuary.

  • That is telling us that what’s happening is prophetically in this prophecy priests are coming to Zadok requesting to be made in the priesthood and they are giving the shekel of the sanctuary.

Of the old priesthood, “everyone that is left of the house will bow for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread (1 Sam 2:36).” They’ll bow. The people will be desirous of the priesthood.

  • This is dealing with the future. We’re not just talking about something happening in the past this is the priesthood that is going to happen in Christ in the future with Zadok.

What will happen is they will bow for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread, and loaf of bread here in the Hebrew is kikar which is the same word for talent. Think about it when you look at a loaf of bread it is a square rectangular piece and that is like when you melt down gold or silver into bullion it is a similar thing.

What it is representing is the talents. These are the good and faithful servants that multiply the Lord’s talents. We don’t think it is a coincidence that this passage and the prophecy dealing with Zadok is talking about talents because these are the talents in Matthew 25 that are multiplied by the faithful servants.

{15:36 min mark} It is also gerahs that are used in the Jubilee as the shekel of the sanctuary in the redemption. Leviticus 27:24 “In the year of the jubilee the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.” Verse 25 “And all of your estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.”

The priest came with a gerah to be redeemed into the priesthood. That’s what’s happening in the prophecy of Zadok that we are reading. This is a little bit over here in verse 35 but then it goes on with those that are approaching the priesthood requesting to be added into the priesthood.

Zadok with David brings the ark to Jerusalem

Now Jerusalem as a word in Hebrew comes with a root word of Salem meaning peaceful. Now Salem is the name for the heavenly Jerusalem as well. We can see that in Psalm 76:2 “In Salem also is His tabernacle, and His dwelling place in Zion.” Verse 8 “You did cause judgement to be heard from heaven.”

  • Salem can also represent the heavenly Jerusalem. Thus Melchizedek is coming from the heavenly Salem, not the earthly one in Genesis 14.  Melchizedek being the king of Salem in Genesis 14.

When David brought the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem, “he called for Zadok and Abiathar.” Remember before there were two priests in operation with David. The house of Levi continued until then and Abiathar chose the adversary and the Zadok is chosen. Zadok is involved with ordering the priesthood when the ark of the covenant comes to Jerusalem (1 Chr 15:11).

  • Keep in mind the priests were not in Jerusalem until David. The Levites are scattered throughout all the land of the 12 tribes, and then David begins to bring them into Jerusalem.

1 Chronicles 16:39Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Yahweh in the high place that was at Gibeon.” David establishes the order of priesthood.

  • And when he does, we see something NEW which we didn’t see in the Torah and this is called the 24 Elders or the Sar priests of Elohim. This is the order of the sons of Zadok.

These 24 Courses that David divided into daily rotations to the sons of Levi. 1 Chronicles 24:3 “And David distribute them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.”  Of the priesthood.

The sons of Zadok, these likewise cast lots over their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king and Zadok. So Zadok is involved with the ordering of the Sar Elohim, the priest of the sanctuary. The Temple is not being built, but David is establishing the Order of the Priesthood of the Temple and Zadok is the key priest figure in this.

2 Samuel 15:27 “The king also said unto Zadok the priest, Are you not a seer? return into the city in peace.”  Zadok as a priest here is also a Seer. A Seer is a prophetic person.

{19:34 min mark} John the Baptist – Order of Zadok

Now that we understand a little bit about Zadok, and a priesthood that comes in and replaces another priesthood, let’s look at this order of Zadok priesthood that is always to come before the Messiah. Remember the prophecy said Zadok the priest shall walk before my anointed, Mashiach in Hebrew or Christos in the Greek.

The priestly order of Zadok begins even before John the Baptist is born with Zacharias his father. The order of Zadok the priests goes back to when Zadok established the 24 priests and then we come to the time the Messiah is to come, but before the Messiah, there is going to be this one that will walk before My Anointed in the prophecy.

In Luke 1 it tells us, “That there was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia (or Abijah).” What this is is the precise order of 24 that we mentioned earlier, this is the 8th in the order. Zacharias is a priest, he is a Levi. He is serving in the Temple and he is serving under the priest course name Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron. Her name was Elizabeth. They were both righteous.

Righteous, remember Zadok means righteous. They’re walking in the Zadok order. They are righteous before God walking in His commandments and ordinances of the Lord, blameless. They had no child because Elizabeth was barren. They are both now well stricken in years.

It came to pass that while Zacharias executed the priest office before God in the order of his course, Abijah, according to the custom of priests his lot was to burn incense. He went into the Temple of the Lord. He is in his priesthood, he is serving and he received the lot to offer the incense and he goes into offer the incense. Then you know what happens is the angel Gabriel visits him and says you’re going to have a son and his name is going to be called Ioannes, John.

Then Zacharias prophesies because Gabriel shuts his mouth. He can’t speak until he writes on a tablet that his name will be Ioannes, John. When he does his mouth opens and he prophesies and he says he has raised up the horn of salvation for us, the house of his servant David. He is prophesying he has raised up the horn of salvation. He has raised up the house of David. The house of David is coming. This is being established through his son, and the Messiah is coming.

John walked before the Mashiach. Luke 1:80 “And the child grew, and waxed strong.” This is John or Ioannes which I’m saying in Greek. “and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel.” Then John of course, is the one that baptizes the Lord Jesus Christ in the river Jordan.

Baptized in Salem

Now remember how we saw how there was this name Salem, and Melchizedek comes from Salem. What was interesting is if you look at the word Salem in the Greek {Σαλήμ} there is an identical spelling that we find when John the Baptist baptizes Christ. This identical spelling is seen in Genesis 14 when Melchizedek visits Abram.

It says in John 3:22 “After these things Jesus came and his disciples into the Judean land; and there he spent time with them and was baptizing.” Verse 23 “And also John was immersing (or baptizing) in Aenon near Salim {Σαλήμ}, for there was much water there; and they were arriving and being baptized.”

Now in your English translation it is spelled Salim, but we don’t think it’s coincidence that John who is a priest in the order of Zadok is baptizing in a place of Salem. Just like Melchizedek came, king of Salem.

Christ talked about John himself, being the way of righteousness. Matthew 21:32 “For John came unto you in the way of righteousness.”  Righteousness in Hebrew is Zadok.

  • John the Baptist came in the order of Zadok the priest, as a forerunner to Christ.

{25:25 min mark} Yeshua son of Yehosadaq

I know we’re going through a lot of words in Hebrew and Greek, but it’s very important you understand this because without this understanding if you just read in English you won’t understand any of the significance of these words. Zadok means Righteousness. Every time you are reading a name in Hebrew most likely in English that name you are reading is wrong. It’s someone’s name and not only is it a name it means something. It’s a word. Usually it’s a combination of the name of Yah, God, Yahweh, and it’s another word.

One of the things I hope you get from this is the word Zadok means Righteousness. Once you familiarize yourself with these words you realize Melchizedek, melchi means king and zedek means righteous, so the priesthood is Melchizedek, King of Righteousness.

Now Yeshua is a way of saying Joshua. When we read the book of Joshua it’s Yeshua, if we are more specific in the Hebrew, and we can see Christ as Yeshua is prophesied in Zechariah 6.

  • Now prior to Christ coming, the line of the kings went through Judah and the line of the priests went through Levi.
  • Now as seen with the order of Melchizedek these rules are combined in Christ, in Him there is no separate king and no high priest.

This is evident in Zechariah 6. It says “the Branch shall sit and rule as king and be priest.” This is somebody who is operating as both king and priest. There’s not a separate tribe. There is not a separate person. There is one role. One person is doing both roles.

Yeshua here is son of Yehosadaq and he was crowned. Yeshua, Yehosadaq. What is Yehosadaq? It’s like saying Yah, God, Zedek, righteousness. Yeshua is son of Yah righteousness. He is the Son of the righteous Yah. It’s Zadok. You see it again. Yeshua or Joshua is represented as the son of Yehosadaq meaning Yah and zedek righteousness, or Zadok.

Kings and Priests

That is very important to us because in the Millennium there’s a forerunner as well. We have the two witnesses as a forerunner and then you have these people that are going to be kings and priests. They don’t have a separate role for the king and they don’t have a separate tribe for the king. They don’t have a separate role for the priest and a separate tribe for the priest. They are kings and priests in the order of Melchizedek in the Millennium.

{28:24 min mark} He has “made us kings and priests unto our God and His Father.” King, basileus, and priests, hiereus in the Greek, this is repeated in Revelation 1:5; 5:10; 20:6 .

  • Christ who has the key of the house of David He chooses and makes people kings and priests. He’s made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign on the earth.

Revelation 20:4I saw thrones and they that sat upon them and judgement was given .. and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Verse 6 “They shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

There you can see the order of Melchizedek and this would show us that when Christ is talking about the sons of Zadok He’s talking about the same thing as these people.

  • Now we’re going to show you the mystery of the OTHER Tribe which is Zadok or Melchizedek.

There is a hidden tribe called Zadok, or the sons of Zadok, and are called the tribe of Melchizedek. As we mentioned before melchi in Hebrew, malik, means king. Zedek is righteousness. If you spell it zedek it doesn’t matter if it’s spelled that way or zadok this word means the same thing, righteousness.

What is this Other Tribe? Apostle Paul refers to this in Hebrews 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity to change (metathesis) also of the law.” Verse 13 “For he of whom these things were spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.”

  • There’s Another Tribe outside of the tribes. The other tribe is Another Priest. The previous verse (11) said, “Another priest shall rise after the order of Melchizedek and not be called after the order of Aaron.”

Here you can see not only is there another priesthood but that it doesn’t come through Levi, it doesn’t come through the tribes, it’s a New Tribe. It is Melchizedek. Here we see Another Priesthood, Another Tribe in the order Melchizedek, king and priest of Salem, whose name means king of righteousness or Zadok in Hebrew.

We see this Tribe is listed. We see the tribe of Zadok is listed. There are 12 tribes listed in 1 Chronicles 27, but there’s Another Tribe listed called Zadok. It says, 1 Chronicles 27:17 over Aaron Zadok, which means:

  • the priest of Zadok is over the order of Aaron, has precedence. This is the order of the priesthood that’s happening in the Millennium.

Melchizedek king of Salem. Again we have Salem here in the Greek is spelled identical to how it is spelt in John chapter 3. The priest of the Most High God who visited Abraham.

Genesis 14:18 “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought the bread loaves and wine: And he was priest of the Most High. {19} And he blessed him, and said, Abram {Abraham} a blessing of God the Highest who created the heavens and the earth. {20} Blessed be God the Highest who delivered up your enemies into your hand. Abram gave him a tenth from all.” That’s Genesis 14 where we learned about Melchizedek.

{33:10 min mark} Job and Elijah on Faithful and Evil Servants

Now I’m excited about this part. Be patient with this study. Definitely get the notes. Now I am about to tell you something deep and I don’t know how to do it other than just do it so let’s go.

In the prophecies you can see many of the prophets have visions and when they see the saints they see one saint speaking to another. Hopefully if you have followed the series, it was like a year ago, we were doing a series on the book of Job. We were explaining how the book of Job is prophetic as Job is the end times tribulation saint that is approaching the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds.

  • Now prior to the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds there’s a figure that comes out, in the King James his name is Elihu, but if you look at that name in the Hebrew his name is Elijah.

What basically happens in the book of Job is you get the disasters hitting Job early on in the book and then it goes over to like chapter 26, I forget what it is, but anyway Job and the friends are arguing back and forth. There’s another guy there his name is Elihu, which we’re going to call Elijah. He’s listening and he doesn’t say anything the whole time. He’s listening to all the statements and he doesn’t say anything until the end. He is the last person to speak and then Yahweh will appear to Job.

  • This person is like a type of shadow of Elijah himself preaching to the end time saints.

This is very apparent. If you go back and you are familiar with this series we could see Job goes into the Millennium. You can see Job, and we talk about Elijah.

Now what we want to do is kind of revisit those themes and show you that Job and Elijah have this conversation, if you were, and this conversation surrounds many things but we will focus on the good and faithful servants and evil servants. That’s what we are going to call it. It’s like a conversation in Scripture. We will focus on the revealed understanding that’s coming from each.

  • They’re talking about something that is going to happen in the future and this is Christ talking about when He gave talents. We are talking about giving talents or He gave the pounds. He gave them and there were faithful servants and there were evil servants.

Through Job chapter 12 and chapter 36 we will gain insight into what Christ was talking about and it clears up some things regarding what Christ said, because now we have multiple witnesses explaining what Christ was talking about.

Good faithful servants as spoken by Job in chapter 12. Here we are in Job chapter 12 and we’re going to go through some of the passage and you can clearly see Job is talking about something pretty extraordinary.

Job 12:4 “For a just man (zadok man), and blameless, was born.” Verse 14 “If he locks against man, who opens?”  This has to do with the Key of David. Christ has the Key of David and opens and no man shuts, and He shuts and no man opens.

Then he talks about the faithful servants further. {Job 12:18} “He looses the bond of kings, and girds their loins with a girdle.”

  • What’s happening is these are the rewards being given to the good and faithful servants.

{Job 12:19} “He leads priests away spoiled.”  Remember that the priesthood they are kings and priests so we get kings and kohen in the Hebrew, priests. “and overthrows the mighty. {20} He removes away the speech of the faithful, and takes away the understanding of the elder.”  Here we’re getting insight into the elders, the kings and priests.

  • This is the Millennial Priesthood, the good and faithful servants.

Now we read this in the ABP or the Greek it says this, ABP 12:18 “sitting kings upon thrones, and ties a belt on their loins;”  These are kings being set on the thrones just like we saw in Revelation 20. {19} sending priests as captives; and the mighty ones of the earth he eradicates; {20} reconciling the lips of the trustworthy; and the understanding of the elders he knew…

What’s happening here is we’re seeing confirmations of something that’s a king and a priest and an order that’s coming and this is in the Millennium.

Then Job also alludes to what we know are the foolish servants.

Job 12:17He leads counsellors away spoiled, and makes the judges fools.” {25} “he makes them to stagger like a drunken man.” The ABP says, {Job 12:25}May they handle darkness, and not light; may they be wandering as if one being intoxicated μεθύω methýō.”

This relates to what Christ said about the unprofitable servant, {Matthew 25:20} “Cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness.”  And Matthew 24:29 “evil servant eats and drinks with the drunken.”

We wonder what that outer darkness is, it is the Abyss. That is what it is talking about. We see this in Job chapter 12. This is Job speaking. We can see that.

Then we get Elijah speaking. Elijah responds, this is in Job chapter 36, and provides additional insight into both the wise and the foolish servants. Elijah says this, {Job 36:7} “He does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous צַדִּיק ṣaḏiyq (Zadok). And וְאֶת־ kings on the throne for He has seated them for ever, and they are exalted.”

  • Plural kings seated on the throne forever. When has that ever happened? It is happening in the Millennium.

There you see the kings on the throne. That’s like what Job talked about back here in chapter 12, “sitting kings on the thrones.” Elijah is alluding to what Job talks about early. He’s going to give us some more insight into what he was saying. That’s why I’m saying this is like a conversation.

{ABP Job 36:7} “he shall seat them into victory (overcomers νῖκος nîkos), and they shall be exalted.”

  • This is the Overcomers. These are the Overcomers that Christ talked about. {Revelation 3:21} “He that overcomes will sit on my throne, even as I sat on my Father’s throne.” Glory to His name!

It continues. And if they be bound in fetters/chains זִיקָה ziyqâ, and be holden in cords חֶבֶל ḥeḇel of affliction/poverty πενίας8g3997.1 (Ezk 4:8);

  • They are going to go through Trials. Then He shows them their Work. This is important because what’s happening is Elijah provides additional insight into the Discipline of the Most High, that when He shows the good and faithful servants their transgressions, He disciplines them and they are to return from their iniquity and obey Him. This is amazing.

{Job 36:9} “Then he shews them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. {10} He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.”

  • The righteous servants the Most High will show them their transgression, their iniquity, and they will Repent. It’s conditional!

{11} If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity/good טוֹב ṭôḇ, and their years in pleasures.”

These are the Good and Faithful servants, and their years in pleasure.  There you can see it’s Conditional!  Just like Christ. It is conditional based on the talents that He gave, based on the pounds, based on the thing that it is conditional with what it is that He gave.

  • Were you faithful with what He gave?

{42:37 min mark} Elijah also expounds upon the foolish. This is Job 36 still, now we are in verse 13 ” But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath.”

  • This is what Christ talked about, the foolish servants. He says He will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites.

Job 36:14…and their life being pierced by messengers (ἄγγελος ángelos angels),

  • They are being cut in pieces in hell because they afflicted the weak and disabled.

{15} because they afflicted the weak and disabled; and He will expound judgment for the gentle. {16} And from when he beguiled/deceived ἀπατάω apatáō from out of the mouth of the enemy, an abyss ἄβυσσος ábyssos, for throwing down underneath it,…

Now there’s a bit going on here but you can see what’s happening is Elijah is telling us more detail about what Christ talked about. The foolish servants, the unwise will be cut in pieces. They’ll have their portion with the hypocrites. They are cut in pieces by angels because they afflicted the weak and disabled and they’re going into the abyss. That is the underworld. It’s like Hades.

Sadducees

Now just like at the time of Christ we have righteous, you have good and faithful servants. We saw how John the Baptist came through the proper line of Zadok. He was the voice crying in the wilderness. Well there was others, Sadducees.

In doing this study I found all of this fascinating. The root meaning of Sadducees is Zadok. What Sadducees means is it’s as Zadok cee. They’re calling themselves Zadok. That’s their name. It doesn’t matter what your name is are you the line or not? They’re calling themselves Zadok by calling themselves a Sadducee, but this is the Apostate lines and it was common. It’s kind of like a denomination, like we have different Christians denominations. This is like the Sadducees and Pharisees and zealots and you know different groups.

  • These people call themselves Zadok but they were the ones that had complete animosity towards Christ. This is also like the evil servants because they have positions and things of authority.

11QMelch

Now as we conclude this I’m just going to read this. I hope to get more into this later.

Many believe that John the Baptist was in the Qumran community. It’s quite possible. I believe it in that he was there and he was there for a time, but of course he was not called to stay there as he had to go before the Messiah as we could see.

  • The Qumran community believed themselves to be the sons of Zadok of that time, and we’re learning things about what they said.  And yeah, they knew about New Jerusalem, they knew many things.

They also have this document called 11Q13 or 11QMelch and it’s on Melchizedek. I’m just going to read this and plant the seed and we’ll get more into this in a future video, but I want to include it in this one because the aspect of Zadok continues in this moment before Christ in the Qumran community, some call them the Essenes.

This is a fragment that was found out there. I think there were several fragments, and this one is amazing. What’s happening here is we have aspects of this Qumran community identifying what the Messiah is going to be like and they’re spot on. There are some things that we know like Christ has a first coming and a second coming and some things are fulfilled in his first coming and we have other things in his second coming.

  • For example in Isaiah 61 He says, “this day this is fulfilled in your ears”, and He read a section of Isaiah chapter 61 up to verse 3 and then stopped. It didn’t go into the judgement. They identified this as well.

This is what the document says:
And concerning that which He said, in this year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his property and likewise. This is the manner of release: every creditor shall release that which was lent to his neighbour. He shall not exact it of his neighbour and his brother, for God’s release has been proclaimed. And it will be proclaimed at the end of days concerning the captives as He said, to proclaim liberty to the captives.

  • Now I do believe this is the year of Jubilee, and the captives were released after Yom Kippur this year, those Israelis held in Gaza. I’m going to get into more reasons why I do believe it’s the year of Jubilee. I believe we have multiple confirmations and we’re going to get into that. We do believe that this document needs to be revisited at this time, because it’s the time of the Jubilee in the Apocalypse.

In this document it quotes a Scripture and they’ll say this is the interpretation.
Its interpretation is that He will assign them to the sons of heaven and to the inheritance of Melchizedek; for He will cast their lot amid the portions of Melchizedek, who will return them there and will proclaim to them liberty, forgiving them their wrong doings of all their iniquities. And this thing will occur in the first week of the Jubilee that follows the 9 Jubilees. And the day of atonement is the end of the 10th Jubilee when all the sons of light and the men of the lot of Melchizedek will be atoned for.

  • We believe that that’s what happened with the Priesthood in the end of days.

And a statute concerns them to provide them with their rewards. For this is the moment of the year of grace for Melchizedek. And he will by his strength, judge the holy ones of God, executing judgement as it is written concerning the songs of David, who said, Elohim has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgement. And it was concerning him that he said, let the assembly of the peoples return to the height above; El will judge the peoples.

  • Now that whole section what we’re suggesting is that is an end of days fulfillment. As we have seen the order of Melchizedek will come again as a precursor for Christ. We do have some other things that deal with His first coming. Now this is continuing again in His second coming.

As for that which he said, how long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Its interpretation concerns Belial (or like the devil) and the spirits of his lot who rebelled by turning away from God’s precepts. And Melchizedek will avenge the vengeance of the judgments of God and he will drag them from the hand of Belial and from the hand of the spirits of his lot. And the gods of justice will come to his aid to attend to the destruction of Belial (final destruction of the devil).  And the height is all the sons of God. This is the day of peace and salvation concerning which God spoke through Isaiah the prophet.

  • Now this aspect also goes back to Christ’s first coming.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger who proclaims peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion: your Elohim reigns.

We know that was quoted in Romans, apostle Paul quoted, but that’s also the messenger, the angel, and the messenger that carries the banner and proclaims good news to all tribes, kindred, nations. {Revelation 14:7} Worship God. Serve Him for the hour of His judgement has come. Worship Him that made the heavens, the earth, the seas and the fountains of waters.

Its interpretation; the mountains are the prophets and the messenger is the Anointed one of the spirit, concerning whom Daniel said, until an anointed one, a prince. And he who brings good news, who proclaims salvation: it is concerning him that it is written. To comfort all who mourn, to grant to those who mourn in Zion. To comfort those who mourning: its interpretation to make them understand all the ages of time. In truth will turn away from Belial by the judgements of God, as it is written concerning him who says to Zion: your Elohim reigns. Zion is those who upheld the covenant, who turn from walking in the way of the people. And your Elohim is Melchizedek, who will save them from the hand Belial. As for that which He said, then you shall send abroad the trumpet in all the land. Trumpet, yobel, trumpet of the Jubilee.

Now there’s another section that is fragmented but we want to read this as well.

And know that God and many. The law upon them and he will announce. Shall devour Belial with fire. Of Belial shall rebel. With plots in their hearts. The ramparts of Judah and the rampart of Jerusalem. A wall and to lift a column. And at its appointed time the end of the Jubilee he will carry it two hundred in those. The week. The divisions of the times.

That is this document. If you’re interested in these notes I will put a link in the description field (see notes below). The video is long but there is nothing I could do.
