Did Christ celebrate the Feast of Purim?  It is thru the apostle John that we find out the most about Christ and His trips to Jerusalem, to celebrate the Feasts.  But did He celebrate Purim?  We’ll have to do some investigation and some study to find this out in the Gospel of John.

But we’re on a series on Daniel chapter 11 and 12, where we’re looking at the Revealing of Jesus Christ: the Alpha & Omega, and the Angelic Hosts, and the Kings of Persia.

We looked at Artaxerxes, and we’re going to look at Cyrus and Darius, but these are the expressions of The Lord Jesus Christ in His Millennial Kingdom.

The 4 kings of Persia; Cyrus, Darius, Ahasuerus, and Artaxerxes.

So we saw in the Shushan Palace, where Esther was, we have a type of the King’s House in the Millennial Temple.

We saw the Palace of the Sheep called Solomon’s Porch, as it relates to the Feast of Hanukkah.  So we can find that within the Messages in Matthew 24, it’s clearly talking about:

• Hanukkah,
• the Abomination of Desolation,
• the Rapture,
• the Wedding Supper,
• and the revealing of the Antichrist.

We find the profile of the Antichrist, Antiochus Epiphanes, by reading Daniel 11 in this series specific to Hanukkah.  So it’s all a type and shadow of what we would expect to see in the Future.

But does John chapter 5 reveal more to us, then whether that fact that Christ celebrated it or not, but does it show us the Mystery of the revelation of the Book of Esther?  That’s what we’re going to investigate in this Message.  Not only did He celebrate, but did He have a Message for us in the Last Days?

So that was taking place in a place called the Bethesda Pool, and this is where it is in Jerusalem. We know where the actual Archaeological site where Christ had the Miracle, it’s called Bethesda Pool, we know it very well.  This is going back to just a 100 years or so ago, this was discovered with the 4 Porches.

Here is an artist rendering of potentially of what this placed looked like, with the 5 Porches, and the man’s withered bed that he picked up his bed on the Sabbath Day.  We’re going to look at the Message very closely, however.

We take a look at the Gospel of John and we look at the Feasts, we can clearly see 3 Passovers. So we take the whole Book of John chapter 2, we have our 1st Passover, in John chapter 2 verse 13 and 23.

So at the beginning of Christ’s Ministry, we have very early on, we have Him celebrating the Feast of Passover in Jerusalem.  We have another Passover, so another Year later, is in John chapter 6.  So in John 6, He is in Jerusalem celebrating Passover, John clearly identifies that.

Then we have a 3rd Passover in John chapter 12, leading to Christ’s crucifixion.  So clearly we have 3 Years and 3 Passovers.  Passover is in the Spring, and in the Fall is Tabernacles.  John does describe to us 3 Passovers, he tells us in John chapter 7 about the Feast of Tabernacles, and John chapter 10 he tells us about the Feast of Hanukkah.

So we clearly have descriptions of Passover, Hanukkah, Tabernacles, but sometimes John will say, ‘The Feast of the Jews.’  So he doesn’t always clearly say that, but as we go in the chronological order of the Chapters, we can begin to identify what Feast it’s referring to.

This is very important to us to identify the fact that, He did celebrate the Feast of Purim. We just have to do a little bit of study, not a lot of study.  So first you have 3 Passovers.  And between John chapter 2 is a Passover, and John chapter 6 we have John chapter 5 and it refers to a Feast.  But before we get there, to John chapter 5, let’s go to John chapter 4 because it also talks about a Feast.

John 4:45 ‘Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.’  So what that means, there’s certain Feasts. The men were required to go to Jerusalem for:

• Passover,
• First Fruits or Pentecost,
• and Tabernacles, specifically.

So in John chapter 2 we have Passover, so we consider this to be AFTER Passover.  Right now we have our Proof right here in John 4:35, ‘Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?’  So 4 Months.  It’s saying, that at the time we are talking here in John chapter 4, it says the Harvest is not for another 4 Months.  Now we know exactly when the Harvest is, it’s the 1st Month, it’s Springtime…. it’s the Passover Season….. the Barley Harvest.

So all we have to do is say, that’s Passover {14th Day of the 1st Month}… that’s 1 Month {#1}, you have the 12th Month {#2}, you have the 11th Month {#3}, and then you have the 10th Month {#4}.  Now I know a lot of you don’t understand those Months, but basically right now we are in the 10th Month, just to give you a sense of where it is in the Year {The time of this video was January 10, 2021, the 26th Day of the 10th Month per Enoch Calendar}.

Now we have John chapter 4 talking about the 10th Month.  So then what he is saying, they saw the things that he did in Jerusalem, they’re referring to Tabernacles {in the 7th Month}.  So in John chapter 4, we have the Feast of Tabernacles being described, and the time period of when He is addressing His disciples, “Say not, the Harvest is 4 Months.”

So that’s the 10th Month, and then He goes on to say, ‘the Harvest is right now.” Because the Harvest is PEOPLE, it’s the Time period of the Harvest.  Now this is very important that we understand these details, as we get to John chapter 5.

John 5:1  After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Now we have another Feast.  So we have the 10th Month, and then the only Feast between the 10th Month and Passover which is in the 1st Month, is Purim. Perfect proof, very easy.  Now of course John didn’t say Purim, but he said it was a Feast of the Jews, Jesus went to Jerusalem.

Now, let’s just do a quick understanding of the Biblical Calendar.

In the Biblical Calendar you have major Feasts:

• in the 1st Month which is Passover,
• and then in the 7th Month you have a major Feast: Tabernacles and Day of Atonement.

Then we have minor Feasts.

• The miner Feast come in the 9th Month, which is Hanukkah/Dedication that goes over 8 Days.
• And then in the 12th Month, the Last month of the Year, we have the Feast of Purim.

So now we can see that when He is addressing the disciples that’s the 10th Month, because the Harvest wasn’t for another 4 Months and it has to be BEFORE Passover, so it has to be Purim.

Now our other Proof of this, is that it says in John 5:9, “And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.”  Now this is another very important Proof that this is Purim, because Purim falls on the Sabbath.

{8:10 min mark} If you look at our Calendar here, you can see that this is the 12th Month here.  But Purim falls on a few days, more than 1 Day.  It falls on the 14th and 15th, based on where you are.  So the 14th Day of the 12th Month falls PRECISELY on a Sabbath.  So this is definitely Purim!  We have the Proof in the Months, we have the Proof on the Day, this is Purim.  Amazing.

So now we know this is Purim, we also have this concept and idea that when Christ goes to Jerusalem, and He goes on a Feast, HE HAS A MESSAGE, HE HAS A THEME FOR THE FEAST.

So what you would have to do, you would have to understand the Details of the Feast to understand WHAT it is He is talking about. Because, the foundation of what He’s speaking about in His Message, is based on the fact that He is in Jerusalem for that particular Feast.

Now you can see this throughout, particularly the Gospel of John, and we have other videos on that with the Passover and Christ’s Birth.  We have other videos on that, on Hanukkah and how that reveals to us in the Last Days the End Times in Daniel chapter 11. {Video links are at the bottom of this blog post}.

Now we have another one which is very important, because this is the Book of Esther.  So in the Book of Esther, it’s the King Ahasuerus sitting on the Throne, and it’s the famous story of Esther.  Yet, Christ is going to Jerusalem on this Day, He heals this man.  He picks up his bed, it’s on the Sabbath Day, and we have underlying themes throughout what He did and throughout His Message that shows us, that it is in fact the Book of Esther that He’s Fulfilling.

Now this Prophecy in John 5 took place at the Bethesda Pool, we know the story, but it has an End Times the Book of Revelation Fulfillment, which we’ll clearly see. Because, He’s talking about the Resurrection.

So what we do here on this channel is something that is very, very simple, but yet very profound, because once we identify the Fact, “Okay, John chapter 5 is Purim.”  Now I knew about this and I was preparing for Purim. And if anyone watches this close to Purim, you can see the Proof that Christ did celebrate Purim.

But what we do, is we take this John chapter 5 Message and these bullet points, these things that Christ said, theses Lines…..”Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept”, and we begin to COMPARE them to the Book of Esther, and we understand the meaning.  So what Christ is saying is understood by comparing what He’s saying, to the Book of Esther.

Now, you can say what you want about this channel, you can say what you want about the Message, I’m just going to say this, “When Christ comes, He is NOT a baby in a manger.  He’s NOT your little brother that you can tell what to do.”

Let’s go to John 5:21 “For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:”

THE FATHER HAS COMMITTED ALL THE JUDGMENT TO THE SON!

So, what this means is the Judgment relates to the Throne, the Authority.  All the Throne and Judgment that happens in the Book of Revelation, IT IS THE SON SITTING ON THE THRONE.

John 5:23 “That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.” So they MUST HONOR THE SON! Now how this relates to the Book of Esther, the Book of Esther clearly defines what this Honor is.

And this is Why I have a strong Message on this channel, because:

• you don’t understand these Prophecies,
• you DON’T KNOW WHO HE IS.

What we’re telling you is, WHO HE IS.  And that’s a Stumbling Block for many of you.  Because every year you put Him in a manger.  You say, “Oh….” That’s NOT how He is Coming Back a 2nd time!   So all the Doctrines, Denominations and Churches you went to, are Vashti.

So when the King sits on the Throne and He has an Order, He says, “Bring in the Queen!  Bring in the Bride of Christ!”  Who is the Bride of Christ?  It’s Vashti!  And Vashti REFUSED TO COME. She was doing her OWN thing!  She would NOT listen to the King’s Command, and she made her OWN feast.

All of you are doing the Same Thing.  None of your Pastors, None of your Teachers can teach you this, because they are doing their OWN Thing.  They actually are NOT looking for Christ, they are NOT Honoring Christ.  Understand that?

Because the only thing you know is the Rapture. And you think you’re going to be Raptured.  It may NOT happen the way you think, alright?  So the Honor, ALL Men SHOULD HONOR THE SON!  ALL should honor The Son.

We get to the Book of Esther, what is there?  Dishonor!

And so you have the woman Vashti, the Bride of Christ, WON’T COME TO THE KING’S FEAST!

So the King goes to his servants, “What should we do?”

“Divorce her!  Write a Decree throughout ALL of your Kingdom, lease our whole Kingdom be destroyed, because NOW all the woman throughout the Kingdom will NOT listen to their Husbands because of what Vashti has done. Make an example for her!  Divorce her!  Make a Decree throughout the Kingdom that all woman should Honor their Husbands.”

That’s What it’s talking about, “All that they would HONOR The Son!”  Why? Because it is The Son that is sitting in the Throne of The Father. So, I just told you the Truth.

All the things that will Now happen in the Apocalypse, in the End of Days, is because wherever we came from, it doesn’t matter, it was Vashti!  NO one prepared us for this Time!  People ask me, “Leeland, what about that?”  NOTHING can prepare you!  What are you going to do?  You got to Start Over!  You got to Start Over, you gotta DIVORCE the Old Ways, and forget it.

Now, you say, ‘Well, what do we do now?”  Esther didn’t know, she wasn’t a Queen, she was just a regular person.  Now she had to be Queen.  How do we do that?

So this is a huge problem, all of these Jezebel woman are Vashti’s, Not honoring their husbands.  Not honoring Christ, bringing Wrath upon the Kingdom.  So now we face great Wrath, we face Judgment, because the King was Angry, that’s the Crux of this Message.  I hope you get that.

Now we can see clearly in John chapter 5 this Honor, The Son of Man is sitting on the Throne.

Let me keep going here actually, John 5:23 “That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.”  So the KING in Esther is CHRIST sitting on the Throne!  And that the Honor that we should give to Christ, is the SAME HONOR that we should give to The FATHER.

John 5:23 “He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.”  So IF you are NOT Honoring The Son, you are NOT Honoring The Father.  24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

And then he begins to describe, let’s just quote a little bit more here.  Verse 26 “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.”  So now Christ can Execute the Judgment:

• BECAUSE He died for us.
• BECAUSE He came as The Son of Man and DIED for our Sins.

He is The Only One Worthy, that’s WHY The Lamb is The ONLY ONE WORTHY TO OPEN THE SEAL!

Do you understand that?  You really should Think about this.  Meditate on this!  Go ahead, look around, see if you can find anybody teaching this? You Won’t See It!  BECAUSE WE MUST KNOW HIM. Everyone is talking about their own agendas and their own thing, everyone’s got All the answers.

• But, ARE WE GIVING HONOR TO THE SON?
• ARE WE GIVNG TESTIMONY TO THE SON?

Now, let’s take a look at John 5 and see how it matches the story in Esther.  The first thing we have, is we have this guy and they’re waiting at this Pool.  So you saw the depiction of the Pool, John 5:3 “In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.”

So a bunch of people are waiting, they’re waiting for the waters to be stirred and to receive a Miracle.

Now the description here that we have of the Impotent folk, the Blind, the Halt, and the Withered, this is very important, because again we’re going to WARN YOU and we’re going to say clearly the Truth.  It’s ONLY the 144,000 that are part of the Resurrection.  This chapter 5 is clearly is talking about the Resurrection.

So in the Resurrection, it says in Luke 14:13–14, ‘Don’t bring in your Friends to the Wedding Supper, go out and bring the Poor, the Maimed, the Blind, and the Halt, and then you will be Rewarded at the Resurrection.’

Now it’s a Parable, it’s a play on words, because it’s the Poor, Maimed, Blind, and Halt, that are the 1st Guest to the Wedding Supper.  You can see that in Luke 14:21 “…Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.”  And they did that, and they said that in the Wedding Supper, they said, ‘Those were there, but there’s still room,… go out quickly.’

What we have is the 1st ones at the Wedding Supper are part of the Resurrection.

• It’s Esther.
• It’s the 144,000.

Because, we have this expression of the Poor, Maimed, Blind, and Halt, and we can see them as the Afflicted.  The Daughter of Zion, which we can see in Micah 4:6, 7, and 8, if you read that, you can see that this Description of this Remnant is Afflicted and Poor.  And they are the Daughter of Zion, the Remnant of the 1st Dominion.  So that’s the 144,000, that’s who it is.

That’s why when Esther has a Crown on her head, you see the Woman Clothed with the Sun has a Crown of 12 Stars, representing the 12 Tribes.  Luke 14:21 “….bring in the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 22 …. that you may be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.”

So what’s happening here, this is the Resurrection.  At the Resurrection, it’s those with the Seal of God on their Forehead.  And in Esther 8:8, when the King reverses the Decree, he takes his Seal.  He reverses the Seal and the Decree of Haman, which is the Beast and the Beast goes to War against the Saints, 42 Months.  But then Esther reverses that Decree from the King with the Seal.

So the King’s Seal is Sealing PEOPLE!  The People have to ENDURE the Beast, have to ENDURE the Decree of Haman…. the War of the Beast against the Saints. AND THEN THERE IS A REVERSAL, A Reversal of that Decree.

And that Reversal of that Decree is those that are Poor, Lame, Blind, and Halt, that receive the Seal of God on their Foreheads.

Then it says, ‘Jesus found him in the Temple.’  So he was in the Bethesda Pool, that is a little to the North, and then he was in the Temple.  So then you see Esther in the Temple, in the King’s House at the Palace at Shushan.

Then what happened, is when the Jews saw that Christ healed the man on the Sabbath Day, they went to persecute Jesus and sought to slay Him. So this is the spirit of Haman.  In the story of Esther, the Jews are NOT the same Jews as the Time of Christ, because we can clearly see that Haman is the Antichrist.

And it is the Jews that SUPPORT the Antichrist.

{John 5:43} Christ said, ‘You did not receive me, you will receive another.’  The Antichrist.

But as they do that, as we learn about this Haman person, the Jews begin to attack Christ to slay Him by an Antichrist spirit.  And they persecute and the seek to kill Him, because He healed someone on the Sabbath!  I mean, that is the type of madness that Christ was dealing with.

{John 1:11} So He went to His own, His own received Him not.

Well, the same thing is happening Now!  The Christians are NOT receiving Christ.

Again, they’re doing their OWN THING, just like the Jews were.  So now the Jews in the Book of Esther are NOT the Jews in the Time of Christ.  They represent the Remnant, the Believer’s in Christ, being persecuted by the Beast.

So that’s why when we compare Scripture, we compare what Christ is saying in John 5 with Esther, we can see everybody in their Roles.  So they seek to slay Him!  And as Christ said, {John 5:22} ‘For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son.’

And this is Esther 1:1, when the King sits on the Throne.  And we know in Revelation 21:5, this is Alpha & Omega sitting on the Throne! And He healed on the Sabbath Day.  We saw that Purim is on the Sabbath Day.

John 5:25 ‘…. the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.’

So this is Reversal of the Decree.  So what happens in John chapter 5, is we have the Resurrection.  We have the Resurrection, and when the Resurrection takes place, ‘…The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.’

So just like in Esther, the Jews had the Decree of Haman to kill them, to wipe them out.

And the Reversal of the King’s Seal :

• caused them to Live,
• caused them to OVERCOME that Haman Decree.

John 5:26 ‘For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,’  All that are in the graves will hear His voice, this is the Resurrection.

John 5:29 ‘And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.’

So at the Same Time of the Resurrection:

• there is a Resurrection of those unto Eternal Life,
• and the Resurrection of the Damnation…of those that are evil and wicked.

We know this also from Daniel 12.

And Christ said, John 5:30 ‘I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.’  And again, this is referring to Him judging at the Resurrection.

So we have the persecution of the Jews, we have the Resurrection, all seen in the Book of Esther.

Now we also have the 2 Witnesses.  We have the 2 Witnesses in John chapter 5, where Christ talks about John the Baptist, He says John the Baptist he was a light, he was a burning shining light. And he bore Witness, he was a type of Elijah, he was a type of the 2 Witnesses.

Then we have Moses.  {And Jesus said John 5:45} ‘Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.’

So now we have the 2 Witnesses:

• we got John the Baptist….we got Elijah,
• and we got Moses.

Moses is accusing them, it’s the same thing, the Commandments of God.  So when Christ comes back, it’s the SAME COMMANDMENTS!

IT’S THE SAME COMMANDMENTS THAT IS ACCUSING YOU OF YOUR WICKEDNESS.

So you got the 2 Witnesses bearing Witness in John chapter 5.  Well how is that in Esther?  In Esther it’s Mordecai.  It’s a Single Person, it’s One Person, but it’s representing by the 2 Witnesses, represented by Elijah and Moses.  You have Mordecai sitting in the King’s Gate NOT bowing to the Beast, and then receiving Great Honor later on in the Book of Esther with his Garments and everything else.  As the Great Honor of these 2 Witnesses: John the Baptist as Elijah.

And again as we said, “I have come in My Father’s name, and you receive Me not, if another shall come in his OWN NAME, him will you receive.”  This is so sad, the only people that celebrate Purim are the Jews.  But it is the Jews that are going to receive Haman, the Antichrist.

In the story of Purim, it’s the Jews that are gonna receive Haman, because they did NOT receive Jesus Christ.  They’re NOT going to receive Him {Jesus Christ}, some will.  But in general sense, they’re the only ones doing this Feast, and they talk about all the story, BUT THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND.

They don’t understand what this means in the Future, because the only way to understand this, is to KNOW CHRIST! If you don’t know Christ, you DON’T KNOW what you’re doing, so keeping the Feast means NOTHING without Christ.

John 5:39, ‘Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me {Christ}.’ He said, ‘They are them that testify to Me.  Search the Scriptures.’  What Scriptures? How about the Book of Esther.

So search the Scriptures, search the Book, the Megillah is a Scroll.  In the Hebrew it’s a Megillah, and it’s the Book of Esther, it’s a Scroll, its the Megillah Scroll of Esther.  ‘Search it!’  Why?  ‘Because it Testifies to Me {Christ}!’

What does it Testify?  HE IS THE KING SITTING ON THE THRONE!   He is The KING sitting on the Throne, amazing.

And we clearly see that when He says, ‘You won’t receive Me, you will receive another,’ THAT’S HAMAN! He’s talking about Haman.  Haman is a perfect type of Antichrist, he has 10 sons.  We know those 10 sons that he has, Haman’s 10 sons are the 10 kings in Revelation.

So all of the Book of Esther clearly shows us the Book of Revelation:

• we have the 2 Witnesses,
• we have the Antichrist,
• and we have clearly Christ keeping the Feast.

So, what have we learned? We’ve asked ourselves a question: ‘Did Christ celebrate Purim, is the Book of Esther found in John chapter 5?’

John 5:1 ‘After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.’  But what Feast?  Well we can see in John 2:13, 23 and John 6:4, Christ celebrated Passover.  And every year this happened in the Springtime.

And John 4:45, ‘Jesus went to Jerusalem for a Feast.’ We understood that this is the Feast of Tabernacles, because in verse 35 says, ‘There are 4 Months, yet then comes a Harvest.’  Harvest of Passover, so 4 Months earlier would bring us to the 10th Month.  So between the Time of the 10th Month and Passover.  John 6:4 is Passover, John 4 is talking about the 10th Month, the ONLY Feast there is the Feast of Purim.

Therefore, the only Feast between the 10th Month in John 4 and Passover John 6, is PURIM.  And it falls precisely on the Sabbath Day.

So on the Enoch Calendar, this is the Sabbath. So if you are in the Palace at Shushan, it’s the 14th Day.  And then for the rest of the Kingdom, Purim falls on the 15th Day. Purim is actually a couple of Days, but the 14th Day of the 12th Month on the Enoch Calendar is ALWAYS the Sabbath Day.

And as we look at the rest of John chapter 5, we can clearly see descriptions that relate to Christ in His 2nd Coming.  And Christ in His 2nd Coming, there is the RESURRECTION.  The Resurrection is something that we know to be in the Last Days, and we have types and shadows of this in John 5:3  ‘In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered.’  This is the Remnant Daughter of Zion…this is Esther….this is the 144,000.

And the 1st ones at the Wedding Supper, {Luke 14:21} ‘Bring the Poor, Maimed, Halt, and Blind, you will be recompensed at the Resurrection.’  So at the Resurrection, it’s the Poor, Maimed, Blind, and Halt, and you can read about that in the Wedding Supper, and these are the Sealed Ones at the Resurrection.

Those with the Seal of God on their Forehead at the Resurrection, they are Sealed with the Kings Ring.  So they’re Sealed with the Kings Ring that we see in Esther 8:8. Then, Christ heals this man and He finds him in the Temple. So this is a type of Esther, being in the Temple, in the Kings House in the Palace at Shushan.

The Jews begin to persecute Jesus and sought to slay Him.  Then we see the Decree going out to Kill the Jews in the Book of Esther.

{John 5:22} ‘And the Father’s judges NO man, but has committed ALL Judgment to The Son.’  So the King sits on the Throne of Judgment. {Revelation 21:5} ‘And Alpha & Omega sat upon the Throne.’  All of this relates to Revelation. And, {John 5:18} ‘He healed on the Sabbath Day.’ So we know that Purim is on the Sabbath.

Then He talks about His Judgment and the Resurrection, {John 5:25} ‘The dead will hear His voice of the Son of man and live.’   This is a Reversal of Haman’s Decree, and the letter to Kill {Esther 8:5}.

And, {Esther 8:11} ‘To stand for your Life.’

John 5:23 ‘That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.”

This is the HONOR of The Son!

  John 5:27 ‘And {The Father} hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.’ And then it talks about, 29 ‘the resurrection unto life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.’

So what is the Honor of The Son, in the Book of Esther?  The King’s Feast.

 Esther 1:4  “When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even an hundred and fourscore {180} days.’

So He shows the Honor of His Kingdom at the Time of His Revealing.  But what happens is, the People DON’T KNOW.  They DON’T Recognize Him, because they DON’T KNOW Who He IS. They DON’T KNOW Who He Is, they are Vashti, they are blinded.

So Vashti REFUSED to Honor the King! {Esther 1:11} She Refused to Honor the King, and it brings Contempt and Wrath upon the Kingdom.  And his counselors say, 20 ‘Put her away, that all wives should..’ What?  ‘Honor their Husbands.’

So she’s put away, she’s Divorced.  THAT’S WHAT HAPPENED TO US:

• Because we were doing our Own Thing,
• we were NOT preparing for The Lord in His Return,
• we were NOT Honoring Him.

So now there’s Wrath upon the whole Earth, because of us.

And we find in John chapter 5, we find the 2 Witnesses:

• John the Baptist, which Witness to the Truth. 35 ‘He was a burning and a shining light.’
• {John 5:46} And we have Moses, ‘If you believe in Moses, you would have believed in Me.’  This is a type of Mordecai! {Esther 3:2}  ‘Mordecai sat at the King’s Gate.’ He had the royal apparel and the gold, he refused to bow to the Beast.

John the Baptist head was cut off, but Mordecai in the End of Days is a type of Daniel, is preserved to Live and then is Rewarded greatly with {Esther 8:15} ‘royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple.’

And then we also have in John 5:43 ‘I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name’, THIS IS THE ANTICHRIST, ‘him ye will receive.’  So the Antichrist has to be someone the Jews RECEIVE, because they did NOT receive Jesus Christ.  So this is a type of Haman, a type of the Beast that goes to WAR against the Saints.

The Book of Esther was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, they actually found candy as well!. I’ll link the article that they have here, where they do find some documents,

relating to the Book of Esther.  Some people say that the Book of Esther should NOT be a part of the Cannon of Scripture.

But it is extremely important for us to understand End Times Prophecy.  So it’s very exciting the Dead Sea Scrolls has resurfaced, and the Book of Esther has resurfaced with them.

So what have we learned?

We can see that Christ celebrated Purim. We can see that Christ through John chapter 5 gave us a Message of Purim:

• that it is He that is Seated upon the Throne.
• He is The KING that we should HONOR!
• ALL Power and Authority is given unto Him, in Heaven and Earth.
