The East Gate, and the Order of the House of David and the 24; 24 Elders, 24 Singers and Musicians, 24 Porters.  So we’ve discussed the Gates of Time, and we’ve discussed how the East Gate is opened on the Shabbat.  Now, there is a whole lot more that we need to look at, in terms of ‘Those that Worship Therein.’

Rev 11:2 “Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those that worship therein.” 

That is the Priesthood!  So, as we measure the Priesthood, as we look at the Priesthood, we must go to the House of David ‘Order of 24’.   And we see this very importantly established in Revelation chapter 4, of course.

{Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones: and upon the thrones I saw four and twenty elders (πρεσβύτερος presbyteros) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.}

So, that is what we will discuss in this video, very exciting, the House of David Order!

The East Gate!  The East Gate being Opened, and the significance of the House of David and the Order of 24; the 24 Elders, and the Order of 24 Singers and Musicians, 24 Porters!  Many of you are familiar with the House of David series {link at bottom of the blog}, and THAT is an important thing that we must discuss, as it relates to the Gates.

Obviously, in simple terms, in the last video we talked about the Gates of Time {C05-6-6 Gates of Time: https://vimeo.com/759919903}, the Gates are Opened on the Shabbat.  ‘Okay, that means the Gate is Opened on the Shabbat, simple enough!’  No, it’s Not, it’s NOT that simple!  It’s simple, it’s just more is going on than what you realize!

What’s happening is: Shifts, the Order of the Temple Servants, the Ones that are Serving in the Temple.  Cause remember, as we Measure the Temple, and we show you the Design, and we show the Measurements and we show you the Buildings. In Rev 11, it says, “Rise, and measure the temple, and the altar, and them that worship therein.”  Or, Worship In It!

{Revelation 11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.}

So, it’s also Measuring the Temple PEOPLE, Worshipping!  The People, what are they doing, what is the Order? So, in as much as the Measurements of the Structure and everything that we have shown you up to this point, we certainly have a long way to go to explain many of the Buildings, and the Purpose and the Design.

One of the Major things is the PEOPLE:  Is the Wedding Supper, Is the LAMB seated on His THRONE!

Sadly, most Prophecy Teachers very seldom actually talk about the LAMB and His THRONE, but THAT’S what Apocalypse MEANS, It means the Revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ!

So, what we’re going to do, is even IF you have watched the House of David series, we’re going to take that to another level.  Because, once we take the Septuagint, and we take the story of the birth of John the Baptist his father Zechariah {in Greek, Zacharias}, he was Operaterating in the Order of 24, the 24 Priesthood!

And, when we take those words that we read in Luke chapter 1, in the Greek, and we search those words, we can find amazing things!  And, these are confirmations of things that we have taught previously.

So, the Book of Revelation is all about Priests!  Those that will be Priests and Kings!  It is about the Angelic Order of Priests, that is happening around the Throne with the Living Creatures and those serving in the Inner Court, as we have discussed, over the last several blog posts {Leeland Jones Blog: https://leelandjones.com/blog}

The 7 Angels with the 7 Last Bowls, the 7 Angels with the 7 Last Trumpets, all of those are Offerings around the Temple!  And, we see the Priests coming into being, in Revelation 1!  And, it says, He has made us Kings and Priests!

{Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever, Amen.}

Now, these are People, because They have been Redeemed by His BLOOD, and Washed by His BLOOD!  So, He has Redeemed ZION!  So, we have everything happening in Worship around the Throne of the Angelic Order, and the Order of King and Priesthood going into the Millennium!

The Book of Revelation always has something at the Beginning matching something at the End.  So, Revelation 1 is matched with Revelation 20.  So, the Kingdom Priesthood that is Beginning in Revelation 1, is Fulfilled in Revelation 20, in the Millennium, when John said, ‘I saw Thrones, and those that sat upon them, Judgment was given to them.’  And then they said, ‘Blessed are those that have part in the 1st Resurrection: they will be Priests unto God, and they will Reign as Kings with him a 1,000 Years.’

{Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.  This is the first resurrection.  6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first ressurection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests (ἱερεύς hiereus) of God and of Christ, and shall reign (βασιλεύω basileuō) with him a thousand years.”}

{12:06 min mark} Now, let’s look at the Order of 24, you can see on the left, that we have notes on this, we have the Septuagint {in the middle}, and on the right portion of the screen, we have the King James, and we have different verses here.  But basically what we want to show you is, is you see the Title here: The Ministration of the Levites. So, this is 1 Chronicles 24, and this is going to show us the Order of 24 Elders.

And, essentially what happens, is Aaron and his sons are granted the Priesthood, and then there’s ‘lots’ given to the Names of the sons in the Priesthood, essentially.  But, what’s significant here, is you can see that there’s basically 2, there is Eleazar and Ithamar, because Nadab and Abihu had offer Strange Fire, and they had no sons, so their not counted.

Then we get David dividing them by lots, and Zadok!   Here you see Zadok:

{1 Chronicles 24:3 And David distrubuted them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service. (KJV)}

Zadok is very important, because in Ezekiel, in the Temple, the Priesthood is Granted to the sons of Zadok! So, these are the same Order of the sons of Zadok, here in 1st Chronicles 24!  And, we begin to get this, the numbering of Eleazar and Ithamar.  ‘Their administration.  And were found sons of Eleazar, the Rulers of the Mighty Ones, of the sons of Ithamar.’

So, this is the Order of the 24, that’s what we are seeing here!  And there is 8 that goes to one Name, and there’ s 16 that goes to the other, and he divided them lots, for they were Rulers of the Holies, and Rulers of God, among {the sons of Eleazar and}, the sons of Ithamar {1 Chronicles 24:4,5}.  So, there in Hebrew it’s Sar, Princes of Elohim.

{Septuagint: 1 Chronicles 24:4,5  And he divided them to the sons of Eleazar for rulers for the houses of the families of sixteen.  And to the sons of Ithamar according to the houses of their families, eight.  And he divdied them by lots, these with these. For they were rulers of the holies, and rulers of God among the sons of Eleazar and among the sons of Ithamar.}

So, what’s happening, David is getting the Pattern and the Order, that we find out later in the Book of Revelation, is the 24 Elders.  And so they cast lots of the various Names, of the 24 Names, which you can see of the Order {1 Chronicles 24:7-18}, and that Begins to establish this Priesty Order of 24!

And of course this is a Service in the Temple for 7 Days.  It’s a Shabbat!  So the East Gate is Opened on the Shabbat to Begin the Start of the One Service and the Completion of Another Service of a Different Name!

Now, we find this Fulfilled in Luke chapter 1.  So when John the Baptist, his father, is serving as a Priest.  And you can see in Luke 1:5 “a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course (ἐφημερία ephēmeria) of Abia.” Now, what I want you to notice, the word course here, ephemeria, and it’s a Course, it is a Serving in the Temple.

You can see {15:22 min mark, right side}, ‘the a class of course itself for priests who for a week at a time performed the duties of the priestly office. David divided the priests into twenty four classes, each of which its turn discharge the duties of the office for the entire week, from sabbath to sabbath.’ Shabbat to shabbat.

So, here you can see Zacharius {Luke 1:5} in this Course of Abia, but in the Hebrew Abijah, the Priest Course of Abijah.

{1 Chronicles 24:10,  to Hakkoz the seventh, to Abijah the eighth,}

Abijah is the 8th!  So here the 8th Course of Abijah, we can find here in 1st Chronicles 24, simply enough.  So you can clearly see here, that the Order of this Priesthood is what happens with John the Baptist father. He is serving in this manner.

Now, let’s take a look at this word {g2183, ἐφημερία ephēmeria}, and find it in the Greek Old Testament. 2183 is the #.  So, if we search: 2183,  we see the same word, but now we can find occurances of this word in the Old Testament.{16:50 min mark: 1 Chronicles 9:33; 23:6; 25:8; 26:12; 28:1, 13, 21, etc.}    And here we see many examples, but they come up at important Times, we are just going to summerize some of these here.

So, here you can see that the Priest Course of John the Baptist father, Zacharias, he is Abijah, he is clearly part of the Priest Course that is described in 1 Chronicles 24.  Well, this word { g2183, ἐφημερία ephēmeria} also tells us in 1 Chronicles 25:8, is the Singers and Musicians.  Then, in 1 Chronicles 26:12, this word appears with the Porters.

So, this is Exactly the Order of the House of David, we’ve been teaching for many years, where there are Divisions of the Service! There are the Judges, there are the Singers and Musicians, and there are the Porters.  And, lastly, there is the Military Order of the 12 Troops of 24 Thousand, Representing the 144,000!

So, this is clear Proof and Connection, of the House of David, to what is happening in John the Baptist {Luke 5:1}. Now, what happens is we have the Establishment of this by David, it starts with 1st Chronicles chapter 9, this is called the Tabernacle of David.

{1 Chronicles 9:33 And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night. (KJV)}

The other instances of this, is all David, in 1st Chronicles {23:6; 25:8; 26:2; 28:1, 13, 21}, going all the way up until Solomon is Dedicating the Temple, in 2 Chronicles chapter 5.

{2 Chronicles 5:11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course: (KJV)}

So, all of that point is the initiation, essentially, of this Order. And then it kind of goes away, and it is Restored at ‘other’ Times.  And that is what we can see, we can see it’s Restored here in 2nd Chronicles chapter 23, with Jehoiada the Priest, he restores the Order.

{2 Chronicles 23:8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses. (KJV) (and verse 18)}

And, 2 Chronicles 31, the Order is lost again and is Restored once again, with Hezekiah.

{2 Chronicles 31:2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. (KJV)}

And, then in 2nd Chronicles 35, Josiah, he Restores the Order!

{2 Chronicles 35:4 And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son. (KJV)}

Then you can see Nehemiah Restores the Order, in Nehemiah 12.

{Nehemiah 12:24 And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward, (KJV) (and 12:9; 13:30)}

So, all of these occurances are showing us that the Order takes place, then it’s Lost, then in the Times of Revival, or Critical Moments, it’s Restored!   So that’s why we are saying in Revelation 4, this MUST BE RESTORED, the Order that goes back to David, of this Priesthood!

{Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.  6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. 8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, 9 According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. (KJV)}

Now, another Key word for us, in Luke chapter 1, is found here, Luke 1:6 ‘They are both found righteous before God, walking in all his commandments and ordinances.’ And then it says, ‘It came to past, that while he executed the priest’s office.’  He executed the Priest Office, hierateuo, g2407.  So let’s look that word up here in the Septuagint, g2407, and find it’s usage.

And it has many usages, of course, in Exodus. And of course, it is going to come up many times in the Torah.  {Exodus 28:1, 3, 4; 28:41; 29:1, 44; 30:30; 31:10; 40:13, 15; Leviticus 7:35; 16:32; Numbers 3:3, 4; 16:10; Deuteronomy 10:6; 1 Samuel 2:28; 1 Chronicles 6:10; 24:2; 2 Chronicles 31:19; Ezekiel 44:13, etc.} But it also comes up in 1 Chronicels 24:2, talking about the executing of the Priest Office, given to Eleazar and Ithamar.  We had actually read that verse to you earlier.

Now, the reason why we are doing these word studies, is to show you that the Book of Revelation is Clearly talking about the Order of Priesthood in the Millennium!  And, you can see it right here, in Ezekiel chapter 44, verse 13, it said, ‘they shall bear’, it’s talking about those that Don’t qualify for Priestly Offices.

{Septuagint: Ezekiel 44:13} And they share bear their lawlessness and they shall not approach unto me as to officiate priest to me, nor to lead forward to all the holy things of the holies. And they shall bear their dishonor in the delusion in which they wandered.’

Of course here, it’s also talking about the sons of Zadok in the Millennial  Priesthood.  So again, we have through word association, this word here, { 21:49 min mark: hierateuo, g2407} of the officiating of the Priest Office, appearing in the Order of the 24 Elders in 1 Chronicles 24, and in the Millennium with the sons of Zadok.

Now, on the left (22:04 min mark), you can see our notes.  Now, let’s do a bit of a summary.  {Notes at bottom of this blog}.

Revelation 1:6 “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.”  

Now, the King and Priest is the Order of Melchizedek, who was Both; King and Priest!  AND, this is the Order of the House of David, when the Lamb is Enthroned!   So, in Esther chapter 1, the King is Enthroned {Greek ενεθρονίσθη g1759} , and this is {a parallel}, the KING there is Christ!   And, ‘In the midst of the Throne; stood the Lamb as it had been slain’, Revelation 5:6.

{Esther 1:2 That in those days, when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan that palace,

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne (θρόνος thronos) and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.}

{Leeland’s Notes: Then we see the House of David in place when the Lamb is enthroned with a parallel to Esther 1:2 where the King is enthroned in Greek ενεθρονίσθη g1759.4 . Rev 5:6 confirms with saying “in the midst of the throne (θρόνος thronos) stood a Lamb as it had been slain.”

Esther 1 then describes the 24 Elders as the “The honorable ones ἔνδοξος éndoxos” also used in Isa 22:24 but here at the 180 days of the Wedding Feast γάμος gámos that goes from Rev 4:1 “sound of trumpet” fall 2013 to Lamb slain (Rev 5:6, 9, 12) Passover 2014.}

Now, in Esther 1, it talks about the “The honorable ones ἔνδοξος éndoxos”. Doxa means Glory!  So, these are the Honorable Ones that are part of this Feast of 180 Days {Esther 1:3,4}!  And it says, it was of a Wedding Feast, γάμος gámos {from Revelation 4:1 to Revelatin 5:6, 9, 12}!

And then we saw the ‘Sound of the Trumpet’, and that was the Fall of 2013, and unto the Lamb slain, 180 Days to Passover 2014.  So that is the Time Period of the 180 Days, and the Celebrations in Revelation 4 and 5.

Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones: and upon the thrones I saw four and twenty elders (πρεσβύτερος presbyteros) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

So, for times sake, I don’t have the time to explain it, but there are 24 Chambers in the Holy of Holies representing the 24 Elders.  And, chapter 5 verse 10 continues with, “He hast made us kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.’

{Revelatin 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.}

So, when they Reign on the earth, that is talking about the Millennial Reign, which is clearly described in Revelation 20: 4 ‘I saw thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:’ 6 ‘Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: they shall be priests (ἱερεύς hiereus) of God and of Christ, and shall reign (βασιλεύω basileuō) (as kings) with him a thousand years.”

So, when we look at Revelation 11:2 “Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those that worship therein.”

Who is ‘Those’ worshipping therein?  It’s the Priesthood, it’s the Order!

So, we saw in Luke 1, the Daily Rotation {ephēmeria} of Abijah.  And, this is a class or course of priests who for a week at a time performed the duties of the priestly office. David divided the priests into twenty four classes, each of which in its turn discharged the duties of the office for an entire week, from sabbath to sabbath.

So, there we can see, in Hebrew, it’s called Courses  {Leeland’s Notes: h4256. מַחֲלֹקֶת maḥălôqeṯ; a section (of Levites, people or soldiers): — company, course, division, portion. See also 5555. Which is translated portion “these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD,” in Ezk 48:29}

And we saw Zacharias, his daily rotatations.  Now, it’s not ‘daily rotations’, it’s a Week Rotation, but in Greek, it’s ephēmeria, which means, of the day, essentially.

Then in {Luke 1} verse 23,  it says the “days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house,” Now here it is  λειτουργία leitourgia, which is where we get the word, liturgical {?}, kind of the ‘Denominational’ expression, but this is talking about the Weekly Service.

{Leeland’s notes: “days of his ministration were accomplished”, meaning the service is over days. Ministration is g3009. λειτουργία leitourgia; from 3008; public function (as priest (“liturgy”) or almsgiver): — ministration(-try), service.}

{1 Chronicles 9:25 And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.}

1 Chronicles 9:25 ‘They were in their villages, and they were to come after seven days from time to time.’  And then we see the Order of the “psalm/psaltery singers, rulers of the families of the Levites, in the cubicle being set in order for daily rotations” (1 Chr 9:33, ABP).

So here, we are making note of what we mentioned earlier, that the Daily Rotation is Established in 1st Chronicles 9:33; it Goes Away, and then it Comes Back, it Goes Away, and then it Comes Back!  So, Jehoyadah RESTORES it in 2 Chronicles 23.

{“Jehoiada the priest. And  took each man his men entering on the Sabbath, unto exiting of the Sabbath, for did not rest up Jehoiada  the priest the daily rotations.” (2 Chronicles 23:8, ABP)}

Of course, David established it {1 Chronicles 23}. We have it associated with the Singers, we have it associated with the Porters, 1 Chronicles 25 and 1 Chronicles 26. And then of course, it is there with Solomon, Dedicating the Temple {2 Chronicles 5}!

{26:50 min mark} And we also saw this word {in Greek g2407. ἱερατεύω hierateuō;},  prolongation, ‘Officiating the Priest’s Office’.  Well, clearly associated, 1 Chronicles 24. And also in, Ezekiel 44.

{Leeland’s notes: And again ἱερατεύω hierateuō appears in the Millennial Temple priesthood, “they shall not approach unto me  to officiate as priest to me, nor  to lead forward to all the holy things of the holies.” (Ezekiel 44:13, ABP)}

I know its a lot!   A lot of words, a lot of different things, that’s why I will make the Notes available to you {bottom of this blog}.  But this is the Priest Office, very important to Those that Desire to be Kings and Priests with the MOST HIGH in the Millennial Reign of Christ!

And recall, that in the House of David, the Order of 24 is in 1st Chronicles 24 with the 24 Sar elohim or the Princes of the Sanctuary or Judges.  Then we have the 24 Singers and Musicians in 1st Chronicles 25.  And then we have 24 Porters in 1st Chronicles 26, and here are the 24 Porters {Column on the left}. Giving us this Order that Each would come in a Rotation, Serving during each Shabbat {Sabbath}.

And those Serving would be associated with a Name, just like  Zacharias was Abijah, as we discussed earlier.

That concludes it, The Gates!  Now, you can see how the Gates are important as the Rotation of the Sabbath and the Priesthood!  So, very, very significant!   Very, very important!  Very simple concept, but very, very significant, as you can see, There IS a Restoration of the Priesthood!

AND, the Temple in Heaven is what shows us, all the Offerings and Magnifies the Lord Jesus Christ on His Throne, as the Lamb slain!  And that Temple happens in Heaven, and THEN it’s going to come to the Earth!

I know many times we do this, we talk about the Priesthood, you have to realize that the Era and the Time Period of the NEW COVENANT since Christ, ENDS, and we go INTO a New Era!

So, if we look at the Priesthood in the New Covenant, 1st Peter 2, ‘You are lively stones, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God.’

{1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. 7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner. 8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praise of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.}

‘He is the chief cornerstone.’  Now, the Chief Cornerstone there, is talking about Him being a ‘Rock of Offense’ and so is the Temple itself!  A Stone of Stumbling, a Rock of Offense!  Verse 9, ‘But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.’  Royal, meaning Kings and Priests: Melchizedek {Genesis 14:18; Psalm 109:4; Hebrews 5:6, 10; 6:20; 7:1, 10, 15, 17, 21}!

‘A holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth praises unto him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.’ 10 ‘Who in time past were not a people of God, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.’

So, Yes, we are actually still present, and we don’t actually have a Temple on the Earth, BUT the Temple in Heaven is Doing the Sacrifices!   So, the Era that we were up until the Time of the Initiation, and the Events of the Apocalypse, there was a Spiritual House.

THEN, that Spiritual House, and the offering of the Sacrifices, they Begin to Restore them!  They Restore the Priesthood, they Restore the Order, they Restore EVERYTHING unto the Coming of the Messiah, when He will Reign in Jerusalem, in the Millennial Temple, for a 1,000 Years!

So, that’s very important, that we understand that as we go through the Temple, as we go through it as Ezekiel has instructed; ‘son of man, show them the Pattern, show them the Design, show them the Going Forth, the Comings and Goings, the Movements of the Temple.’

{Ezekiel 43:10 Thou son of man, shew them the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the patterns. 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.}

And, you can see how important it is, that is why we took the time to do a whole video, just on the Opening and Closing of the East Gate, as it relates to the Sabbath.  There we could see the Order as it started with David; and then going to Solomon, the Temple Dedicated; it goes away, it comes back, it goes away, it comes back!  It comes back with Hezekiah, Josiah.

We have the Order at the time of John the Baptist, his birth!   And, we can see the Order in Revelation chapter 4, with the 24 Priests!

Rev 11:2 “Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.”

In this post we look at “those that worship therein,” specifically on the opening of the East Gate. Let’s go to Revelation shapter one when the priesthood is first mentioned.
Rev 1:6 “And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.”

Then we see the House of David in place when the Lamb is enthroned with a parallel to Esther 1:2 where the King is enthroned in Greek ενεθρονίσθη g1759.4 . Rev 5:6 confirms with saying “in the midst of the throne (θρόνος thronos) stood a Lamb as it had been slain.”

Esther 1 then describes the 24 Elders as the “The honorable ones ἔνδοξος éndoxos” also used in Isa 22:24 but here at the 180 days of the Wedding Feast γάμος gámos that goes from from Rev 4:1 “sound of trumpet” fall 2013 to Lamb slain (Rev 5:6, 9, 12) Passover 2014.

Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty thrones: and upon the thrones I saw four and twenty elders (πρεσβύτερος presbyteros) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

Then in Rev 5:10 the priesthood is ordered again “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.’ Thus another great assembly taken places before the Lamb opens the Seals completing the 180 days or 6 months from the feast of trumpets.

The priesthood is confirmed to be the Temple service of the Millenium in Rev 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: they shall be priests (ἱερεύς hiereus) of God and of Christ, and shall reign (βασιλεύω basileuō) with him a thousand years.”

ephēmeria or Daily Rotation of Abijah in Luk 1:5 “a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course (ἐφημερία ephēmeria) of Abia.”
g2183. ἐφημερία ephēmeria; the quotidian rotation or class of the Jewish priests’ service at the Temple, as distributed by families: — course, 1 Chr 28:1, 13, 21
1. a service limited to a stated series of days
2. the class or course itself of priests who for a week at a time performed the duties of the priestly office. David divided the priests into twenty four classes, each of which in its turn discharged the duties of the office for an entire week, from sabbath to sabbath

In Hebrew the word is “course” h4256. מַחֲלֹקֶת maḥălôqeṯ; a section (of Levites, people or soldiers): — company, course, division, portion. See also 5555. Which is translated portion “these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD,” in Ezk 48:29

“a certain priest, by name Zacharias, of the daily rotations of Abia; and  his wife of the daughters of Aaron, and  her name was Elizabeth.” (Luke 1:5, ABP)

Then in v23 it says the “days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house,” meaning the service is over days. Ministration is g3009. λειτουργία leitourgia; from 3008; public function (as priest (“liturgy”) or almsgiver): — ministration(-try), service.

Every Shabbat starts in 1 Chr 9:25 which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them
v33 “psalm/psaltery singers, rulers of the families of the Levites, in the cubicle being set in order for daily rotations” (1 Chr 9:33, ABP)

“And divided them David into daily rotations to the sons of Levi — to Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.” (1 Chr 23:6, ABP)

Singers “And they threw lots for the daily rotations, according to the small and according to the great, the ones perfected and the one learning.” (1 Chr 25:8, ABP)

Porters “Among these were the divisions of the gates, to the rulers of the mighty men, in daily rotations” (1 Chr 26:12, ABP)

Temple Dedication “And it came to pass in the coming forth of the priests from out of the holy places, (for all the priests  being found were sanctified, for they were not then set in order according to daily rotation)” (2 Chronicles 5:11, ABP)

The rotation stopped but was reinstated by Jehoyadah, “Jehoiada the priest. And  took each man his men entering on the Sabbath, unto exiting of the Sabbath, for did not rest up Jehoiada  the priest the daily rotations.” (2 Chronicles 23:8, ABP)

Another important word relates to the “officiiation the office of priest” in Luke 1:8 “And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.”

“Executed the priest’s office ” in Greek g2407. ἱερατεύω hierateuō; prolongation to be a priest, i.e. perform his functions: — execute the priest’s office.
to be a priest, discharge the office of a priest, to be busied in sacred duties.

This directly relates to the 24 Elders that “officiated as priest Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron.” in 1 Chr 24:2, ABP

And again ἱερατεύω hierateuō appears in the Millenial Temple priesthood, “they shall not approach unto me  to officiate as priest to me, nor  to lead forward to all the holy things of the holies.” (Ezekiel 44:13, ABP)

Apparel στολή stolḗ, stol-ay’ flaxen linen λινάς g3042.2 (Ezekiel 44:17, ABPGRK) compare g3044. Λῖνος Linos; perhaps from 3043; Linus, a Christian: — Linus.

“And over a judgment of blood these shall attend  to litigate (διακρίνω diakrínō) my ordinances; they shall do justice, and  my judgments they shall judge; and  my laws and  my orders in all  my holiday feasts they shall keep; and  my Sabbaths they shall sanctify.” (Ezk 44:24, ABP)

“Thus says the Lord Almighty, If in  my ways you should go, and  my orders (προστάγματά g4366.2) should keep guard, then you shall litigate (διακρίνω diakrínō) my house; and you shall guard (φυλάσσω phylássō) my courtyard, and I will give to you ones pacing in the midst  of these standing.” (Zechariah 3:7, ABP)
