The 10 Lost Tribes, the Lost Sheep.
Here you can see our lost sheep. We are gathering the Lost Sheep.
We are very excited to continue with this message. It’s very, very important. As you can also see the scales, we must have balance.
- The Jews say, “Oh, replacement theology, replacement theology,” well, Christ told them, “Look, the kingdom is going to be taken from you and given to someone else to bear fruit.”
- Then the Christians say, “No, no, all the people that are in this modern state of Israel, they’re all those that say they are Jews and they are not.”
So, we must achieve balance. It’s both.
There are 2 Tribes there in Jerusalem. We saw that in the previous part on Zechariah 12. When Christ is coming, there are 2 Tribes. There is a tribe of Judah and a tribe of Levi.
I know a lot of people are mad with the state of Israel, rightfully so, but keep in mind, this is prophecy. The Most High, His words will be fulfilled. This is the second coming of Christ. This is the Apocalypse, and the whole modern state of Israel, it had to happen. Not only had to happen, but it also had to happen for these 24,000 people. That’s what the whole modern state of Israel is for, these people.
We talked about Judah and Levi in last video. In this video, we are talking about the 10 Lost Tribes.
- Now, as we get into maps and things, as you’ll see, we’re going to state very, very clearly, there are no people on the earth now that can fulfill 12,000 per each of the 10 Lost Tribes.
We’re saying that very, very clearly. We’re showing at the time where they were dispersed to. I mean, if we look at the place where they’re dispersed to and we look at the early church of what they say, it’s Iran. It’s northwestern Iran. It’s Turkey. So, do we see people there saying, “Oh, I’m the tribe of Manasseh. I’m the tribe.” No, we don’t see that.
So, what does it mean? It means that even the early church, they are gathering the 12 Tribes and they went to the Nations. They went to the ethnos. They went to the Gentiles. The converted Gentiles, they believed, were the diaspora. They were the ones that were coming back. And they were re-gathering the Lost Sheep.
What we hope to do is take elements of prophecy, of many things, just like we did in the last one. We’re going to look at Hezekiah. We’re going to look at Jonah and Nineveh. We’re also going to look at James and Peter.
{2:59 min mark} What we’re looking at here in our study of the 10 Lost Tribes is a seal impression of Hezekiah. This was discovered in the Ophel along with the seal impression of the prophet Isaiah. Amazing.
Now, this is significant to us because we know in the last days, the Lamb opens the seals and what’s happened through archaeology, certain seal impressions have been discovered in, mostly in the city of David. When they’re found, there’s actually what we believe is a release of information related to that seal in many cases.
What we have is this seal impression being discovered and it would lead us to believe that there’s importance in the end of days, in our times, in the second coming of Christ, that the story of Hezekiah would be a way the Most High would use a historical event that happened in the past as a way of describing to us what the future prophecy would look like.
So the Most High orchestrated events and had them take place in such a way that it would paint a picture for us. He’s painted a picture and then that picture and many of those events will repeat themselves in the end of days and that’s what we believe with the seal and the story surrounding the famous king Hezekiah along with the prophet Isaiah.
This gives us a great understanding of the Tribes. Obviously there are other things we could talk about. We’ve talked about Hezekiah as it relates to Armageddon because in the 14th year of Hezekiah is where we see the Armageddon scenario.
- Hezekiah’s ministry lines up with the King’s Timeline; 14 years and we get Armageddon.
We saw in the previous videos how Jerusalem is Surrounded with Armies, per Zechariah 12 and 14. The same thing happened to King Hezekiah. He was surrounded by Sennacherib. Sennacherib wasn’t there but the Assyrians came and surrounded him.
- Now Hezekiah, in the first year of Hezekiah’s reign, he invites the 10 Lost Tribes. Actually, they’re not lost yet. They haven’t gone into captivity yet.
But he invites the tribes from Beersheba to Dan, the northern kingdom of Israel. He sends out posts and he invites them by king’s decree to come to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. He sends out these letters. They go into Ephraim. They go into Manasseh. They go from Beersheba to Dan to keep the Passover. A small number, a remnant came, men of Asher, men of Manasseh, men of Zebulun humbled themselves and they came to Jerusalem.
Now the other thing that happens is, that’s the first year of Hezekiah, in year four through year six of King Hezekiah, the northern kingdom of Israel is taken captive into Assyria. At this time the scribes document according to the time frame of King Hezekiah the exact locations where they go, Halah, Habor, Gozan and the Cities of the Medes.
What we believe is this holds a significance to us, an understanding of where are these places. We’re not necessarily looking at these places as these are the exact locations of where the 10 Lost Tribes are. No, but what we want to point out is the significance of Nineveh.
This is Assyria. This is Nineveh. One of those places that we just saw was called Gozan. Gozan, we don’t know exactly, but some would suggest that Gozan is here to the west of Nineveh. These other boxes here represent other locations of some of those other places potentially. We don’t know exactly, but these are rough estimates.
Essentially what happened, and this is just a political strategy if you will put it that way, is the Assyrians basically would take slaves and they would use the slaves as a buffer zone against their enemies. The Assyrian Empire is here as you can see. Then what they would do is they would take slaves that they took captive in different places and they will put them as a buffer zone between them and the mountains and their other enemies of the unconquered lands. That’s why we also believe that these are these locations is because through history we know that the Assyrians were doing this. So here we have Gozan and here we have Nineveh. These slaves are placed as a as a buffer zone around and to protect the capital city of Nineveh. That’s what we’re getting at there.
We do have a second map as well which basically kind of covers the same thing again.
Here’s Nineveh, but what we’re going to do is we’re looking at this not in a literal sense. Here you can see the Medes and it says that they were taken captive into the Cities of the Medes. Then we can see other regions over here. This is modern day Turkey (Phrygian kingdom).
Essentially what we’re looking at is right here at the bottom of the Caspian Sea, we will have northwestern Iran. That’s the Medes. Then it begins to go down into the mountain range, goes down to the valley. This is Iraq. This is Armenia. This is Azerbaijan by the Caspian Sea. This is Turkey. This area here in Turkey, we’re going to look at in a minute as it relates to what we see the early church, their view on the Lost Tribes.
So during the time of Hezekiah, his reign, the 10 Tribes were taken captivity with detail of their places. 2 Kings 18:11 “the king of Assyria did carry away Israel into Assyria and put them in Halah, Habor, by the river Gozan and in the cities of the Medes.”
- Again even if we don’t know exactly where these places are the idea and principle of what the Assyrians were doing is these people were not necessarily the same as what we have seen when the Jews were taken captive by the Babylonians, where they were in Babylon and they were servants to the king. These were people that were used as a buffer zone between their enemies. So if the enemies come and attack them, they kill the lesser important people, the slaves that are living there, and not their main cities.
Looking closely at the boxes of the map, these are the areas of the captivity which is just north and towards the east and towards the west of Nineveh. This is important to us because there’s a prophetic significance to the city of Nineveh when Jonah goes there and preaches to the city and 120,000 people repent.
- The people repenting are in the location where the 10 Lost Tribes were taken. 10 Lost Tribes, 10 Tribes times 12,000 per tribe is equal to 120,000.
The Fig Tree. The Fig Tree is Restored. In the 6th Seal, we see the Fig Tree restored.
Revelation 6:13 “even as the fig tree cast her untimely figs when she is shaken with a mighty wind.”
The Parable of Fig Tree is a sign of the restored Israel, all the tribes of Israel. “Now learn the parable of the fig tree“, of which Christ told the scribes and Pharisees, “the kingdom of God shall be taken from you (taken from the scribes and Pharisees), and given to a nation that will bring forth fruits.” Bring forth what? Figs is what we believe.
Now the fig tree comes up twice with King Hezekiah. So we’re still actually on the theme of King Hezekiah. And what happens is something fascinating. You see this fig tree and we know that the Land is promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When the king of Assyria is coming to take captive Hezekiah and the remaining of Judah and the Levites that are in Jerusalem, he has an agreement. He tries to negotiate the ‘promised fig tree’ and the “land”, if they bow to the “beast” or the king of Assyria.
This is what he says. He tells the people, 2 Kings 18:31 “Hearken not to Hezekiah, for thus says the king of Assyria, ‘Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat every man from his own vine, everyone from his fig tree. 32 Until I come and take you away to a land like your own.’
- This is the devil trying to make a deal. This is the Antichrist figure that offers a false promised land and a false fig tree. ‘Don’t listen to Hezekiah. Don’t believe in Yahweh. Make an agreement with me. Give me presents. I will give you a land. I’ll give you the promised land.’ Isn’t that crazy?
Thus we have this Parable of this Fig Tree and we also have Christ talking about this fig tree in Luke 13, when you’re waiting for the figs three years.
Luke 13:7 “Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why don’t you cut it to the ground? 8 And he (the servant) answered to him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig it and fertilize it. 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.”
This is Christ looking for the fruit of the fig tree. Is the fig tree bearing fruit? Is the restored Israel in a place that’s producing the fruit that He said earlier, ‘He is looking for a nation to bear fruit. The nation will be taken from you (the scribes, Pharisees, the Jews at that time).’
- ‘The nation will be taken and will be given to a nation that will bear fruit.’ That’s the sign of the fig tree, and the same thing we see as a sign to King Hezekiah.
Isaiah 37:30 “This shall be a sign unto you, Hezekiah, you shall eat this year such as grows of itself; and the second year, that which springs of the same: and in the third year sow, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit.”
As we mentioned before, Nineveh. Sennacherib, the one that is coming against Hezekiah, he held his capital in Nineveh. Archaeology suggests that the site of Nineveh is presently in Mosul, Iraq. We do know where it is. The Bible Expedition has a video on that if you’re interested. Joel Kramer covers that and he goes into detail.
Now keep in mind the 10 Northern Tribes were taken into captivity by the Assyrians, prior to Sennacherib, but during Hezekiah. When he tries to do a siege of Jerusalem. Sennacherib had taken several cities like Lakesh thinking that he would take the land, just as the land of the 10 Tribes was taken. So he’s coming to take the cities of Judah, like Lakesh. He thinks he’s going to easily take Jerusalem.
- Therefore, the events of Hezekiah become a type and shadow of Jerusalem being surrounded with armies. It’s important to note that Nineveh comes into focus at Christ’s second coming.
Christ is parabolically speaking of Jonah and Nineveh in his first coming. But it also has a meaning for us in His second coming. They asked Him a sign. He said, “No sign will be given you except the sign of Jonah who is three days in the belly of a whale.”
Now the other aspect is that what Christ tells them is that the men of Nineveh rise up against this generation, rise up in judgment against it. That’s what we believe as well is that this whole prophecy would have a meaning for us in Christ’s second coming so that there would be a Jonah type of one of the 2 Witnesses that would preach and gather the 10 Lost Tribes. That’s why we’re spending so much time explaining to you that some of the locations that we are looking at they’re around Nineveh to the north, to the east, to the west.
- So that Nineveh would rise in judgment and testify against us, or against the end times generation for NOT repenting.
What did Christ say? A greater than Nineveh is here. So this begs us to look at the story of Jonah and Nineveh. Luke 11:32 “the men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they, 120,000, repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.”
- Now, the people Repented at the 40-day warning of judgment coming from Jonah, being three days and three nights in the great fish.
Luke 11:30 “For Jonah was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of Man be, a sign, to this generation.”
Now this is what it says. Jonah 3:3 “Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days journey.” It took three days to travel one end to another. 4 “And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey and he cried, and said, yet 40 days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.”
120,000 repented.
Jonah 4:11 (ESV) “And should not I pity Nineveh, that great city, in which there were more than 120,000 persons?”
- Now, here is the 120,000 persons significance as it represents the 10 Tribes of the 144,000 that repented in the end of days at Christ’s words. With this in mind, we gain insight that the 10 Tribes of the 144,000, 10 times 12,000 equals 120,000 in the city of Nineveh which is in the location where the 10 Tribes were dispersed to.
Hezekiah is this messianic image over the 12 Tribes so that they’re gathered once again. Judah and Levi in Jerusalem and then the remnant of the 10 Tribes gathering again for Passover.
Now these things that we’re saying were in the thinking, in the minds, of the early apostles. The early apostles, the twelve apostles, when they went to preach Christ first sent them, He said, ‘Go not to the Samaritans, the way of the Gentiles, go to the lost sheep of the children of Israel.’
They went around the Sea of Galilee. They went so far as Tyre and Sidon. They went to places that were in the north. When He was sending them it was not necessarily in Jerusalem and Judea. They’re getting these instructions from Him to go into the area of the promised land and preach there. So then when they’re dispersed, they’re still having the mindset that they’re still preaching and looking for the Lost Tribes.
Now, we’re not saying that these exact locations is where these people are going to be.
- What’s happened is those Tribes are Lost. We don’t know who they are. Nobody knows their tribe. Now all believers have the opportunity, that are Gentile believers, to participate and be in this tribal order of the Lost Sheep of the 10 Tribes of Israel. That’s why it’s the Lost Tribes of the Nations.
Let’s look at what they said. James 1:1 (ESV) “James, a servant of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, to the 12 tribes in the dispersion (or King James says, scattered abroad).”
- Now dispersion is the diaspora and this refers to the converted Israelite resident in Gentile countries. The apostles believed that the Lost Tribes were being restored, by faith in Jesus Christ. If they were Jewish or not, it didn’t matter, they were being restored of the tribes. This is what James is identifying that the people that he’s preaching to, he’s sending a letter to them, are the 12 Tribes. They are the diaspora.
1 Peter 1, he says the same thing. “To the chosen immigrants of the dispersion (diaspora)..” and he gives us locations in the Roman Empire, the Roman regions, “Pontius, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.”
Now, we’re going to take a look at these on the map. Keep in mind Asia is a section of Turkey where the churches of Revelation are. That’s the seven churches. Then we have other locations as well.
The Elect, eklektos. He will gather the Elect. 1 Peter 1:2 “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctification of the Spirit, unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you and peace be multiplied.”
Peter is writing his letter, first Peter, to these regions and these areas calling them the diaspora. These places that he is mentioning we can see them in Turkey. Let’s get this on the map.
Here is Nineveh. This is the Tigris River. We have one lake up here, one lake up here. We have Nineveh here on the Tigris. Then the places he is talking about are here in Turkey. Asia is the seven churches of Revelation. They’re over here. But then he talks about these other areas. Bithynia is here. Galatia is here. Cappadocia is here. Pontius is here. These are regions, that’s called Asia Minor, of Roman provinces. That’s where Peter is sending this letter, to the believers here, and calling them the Lost Tribes of Israel.
Even the disciples told the Lord on the very day in Acts 1:6 “Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom of Israel?” They thought it was happening right there in Acts chapter 1. They are fully expecting this.
Paul makes reference to the same in Acts 26:6 “Now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers, unto which promise our 12 tribes instantly serving God day and night hope to come.”
Now what we also hope to do is when we look at Revelation we can see an Order to the Tribes that are listed. When we do, we see a relationship to the mothers.
We’re looking at Revelation 7, it lists the 12 Tribes: Judah, Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph, Benjamin.
Now, if we were to take the mother of those Tribes, we have the main mothers being Leah and Rachel, but there were other servants that were Gentiles, Zilpah and Bilhah. Zilpah was Leah’s handmaiden and Bilhah was Rachel’s. It tells us where they’re from. I don’t have it here. We know that Manasseh was Asenath of Egypt.
The first tribe that’s listed, it says the tents of Judah are first, so that’s the first tribe that’s listed. The second tribe listed is Reuben, and Reuben was the firstborn.
- Then, what happens is something very interesting. We end up with Gad, Asher, Naphtali and Manasseh. These next four tribes, all of their mothers are Gentile. So in the order of what we’re looking at there’s an emphasis being placed upon the Gentiles. They are moving up in the order so as to indicate that the people that are in these tribes are Gentiles. Amazing.
That is what we’re saying. In this study we’re seeing many things. We’re seeing how Jonah goes into Nineveh. He’s preaching to the 120,000. This is what it is in the end of days. They Repented. Jonah was a sign. Jonah is a sign in the end days, too. Nineveh.
Notes will be in the description field of the video (at top of the blog post). Thanks for watching. This is part of our playlist on the 144,000. We have many other videos, but this one is the one where we’re trying to make it so clear who the lost 10 Tribes are.
- If you’re Gentiles, yes, you have a shot at that.
Thanks for watching. And the voice came from the throne and from the temple saying, “It is done!”
