__________Stone the Builders Rejected______________

In this post we once again highlight a most important topic regarding the Ezekiel Temple, Christ the Precious Cornerstone! The Throne and Footstool may have been of great importance and the Cornerstone is next.

We are always sharing now that we have the website.  We have the channel that is now in the new platform, format.  It’s not really new.  It’s now a year, but we’re very very excited for the opportunity to testify of the Lord Jesus Christ in his millennial kingdom.

As he comes, he is a rock of offense to the disobedient.  A sign of that offense is the temple.  The idea of a temple is completely bizarre to the average Christian.  But, it is very, very clear from the prophecy that Christ will reign in Jerusalem in the millennial period of 1000 years in the temple.  That’s part of what we are doing in this series and we’re outlining and identifying the importance of the Chief Cornerstone.

There’s a cornerstone in the foundation of the temple and there is a foundation stone in the temple complex testifying to Christ.  So, that’s what we do, we testify to Christ.  His death, burial and resurrection and his first coming for the remission of sins.  And, we testify to his second coming, his revealing of how he will be seated on the throne of David in the temple.

Previously we had discussed the throne and footstool.  Very, very critical that we understand as the Chief Cornerstone.  We could say the Throne – Number 1 and the Footstool – Number 2.  We could say the Chief Cornerstone.  Christ is the Chief Cornerstone and Chief Cornerstone to the temple.  This would be an offense to the disobedient and the wicked and the rebellious and those not looking for his coming.  They know it’s Judgment Day and they are running and hiding from the face of the Lamb and from his throne.

What we are going to do, is we are going to discuss here many aspects of Christ the Chief Cornerstone.  Keep in mind everything we’re going to share is on the blog.  We do have a blog post if you go to https://leelandjones.com/ you go to home, you go to blog and you see the top post there at the time of the recording of this video – Precious Cornerstone! – For those that are looking for him.

_________Precious Timios τίμιος________

This expression Precious Cornerstone we get throughout, mostly what we are talking about is in 2nd Peter and 2nd Peter is quoting Isa 28 verse 16.

Isa 28:16 Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious (יָקָר yâqâr) corner stone, a sure foundation (Temple מוּסָד mûsâḏ):

Behold I lay in Zion a stone, a tried Stone, precious in Hebrew Yakar Yakur Cornerstone – a sure foundation.  This is of course, the foundation of the building is Christ.  We look at that in Hebrew, but we can also look at that in Greek.  We actually get more words that transpose into the New Testament.

“Behold, I shall put for the foundations of Zion stone a very costly (g4185 poluteles) chosen which is (1588 eklektos) in the Greek, cornering (g204 ἀκρογωνιαῖος akrogoniaios ak-rog-o-nee-ah’-yos) of value (g1784 entimos) for its foundations” Here again Isaiah 28:16 in Greek ABP Quoted in 1 Pet 2:6.

So we’re going and explain to some very, very important words in mostly Greekw e’re going to use and that is timios.  Here it is entimos and that means something that is Precious – something that is very valuable.  It comes from the root word tim’e which is honor.  So, when they sing songs of Revelation –  “blessing, honor, glory, might,” the word honor that we say in English, the root of that word in Greek is tim’e.

Now we’ll look at the connection and relationship of the “Precious” Stone which in Greek is timios g5093 τίμιος and this word comes from τιμή timē g5092 to honour!

So He is the precious “timios” stone and we give Him honor “timē” by singing. You see honor “timē” as a word in many songs in Revelation 4:9, 11, 5:12, 7:12 and 19:1 in Praises to Him.

▪Again the Precious Stone in 1 Pet 2:7 you which believe he is precious (timē): but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner 9 that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

It’s used to detail New Jerusalem Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light (star light φωστήρ phōstēr) was like unto a stone most precious (timios), even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal (krystallizō);

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious (timios) stones.

▪ Temple Outer Court 1 Ki 7:10 And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.

▪ Temple Inner Court 1 Ki 6:36 And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone.

Now, we then see a clear connection with the First Temple, Ezekiel Temple and New Jerusalem.

Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, gates and wall. Notice Ezk 40:3 behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

New Jerusalem has 12 foundations of precious stones. The first Temple has 3 foundation rows in the Great Court and Inner Court and other foundations of precious stones for the Temple, this is why you “measure the pattern” with the key of David.

So, think about it, they are singing the songs of the Precious One, the Honorable One.  It is Christ.  He is to be honored in the worship.  They are saying tim’e and tim’e is part of the building.  It is part of the structure of the house.  It is very profound so that in the worship and the celebration it’s also declaring who Christ is as a Chief Cornerstone.

This is as we mentioned quoted here in 1st Peter where it says:

1 Pet 2:7 says, “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

What’s happening is that Peter is quoting Isiah 28 which we explained earlier and he’s also quoting Isiah Chapter 8 here.

So, what he is doing is he’s explaining that who Christ actually is, is not easy for the majority of the people to comprehend.  The reason for that is that they are wicked and selfish and they believe that God is supposed to do things for them when it is the opposite.  We are to serve God.  We are to give him offerings.  We are to give him our whole heart.  We are to love him with all our heart, soul and mind.

When he comes, he would be an offense.  He was an offense to the Jews.  They didn’t accept him in the religious structures. Same thing in Christ in his second coming, individual people will believe that it is the apocalypse but the organizational structure of the religious institutions will NOT say this!  In fact just the opposite.  They will promote the Antichrist.  They will promote the Mark of the Beast.  All of this you can clearly see.  So, He is coming as an offense.  And what is the offense?  It is the temple.

What this is talking about is in Isiah 8:14 – “He shall be for a Sanctuary”.  He will be a temple.  He will be a Sanctuary.  Of course when Christ came in his first coming there was a temple and he prophesied the temple be destroyed and then there would be the New Testament era by which the function and structure of the temple becomes spiritual.

For 2000 years we have acclimated ourselves to the idea of a spiritual temple, not a physical one, but that is not what the prophecy says.  There will be a physical temple.  The idea of a physical temple is an offense to what Peter said earlier to the disobedient.  Because, they will NOT accept the reality of Christ in his second coming and Judgment Day.

So we see that because Christ Himself is a stumbling block, rock of offense to the disobedient Christians, He is the Ezekiel Temple that they fail to accept. They are supposed to be “builders” however in rejecting Him, Christ becomes the Rock in which they reject. It’s very clear from these passages in Isaiah.

This is talking about the the stumbling block of the Millennial Temple as also pointed out in

Isa 8:14 “He shall be for a Sanctuary; but for a stone (lithos) of stumbling (proskomma) and for a rock (πέτρα petra) of offense” which is quoted in Rom 9:33.

We get this being mentioned by Peter and Apostle Paul.  Because Christ is the stumbling block, he is a rock offense to the ones that are appearing to be believers in Christ.  But, they are Mystery Babylon because they didn’t come to the feast just like Vashti.  She didn’t come to the feast when the wedding supper invitation comes out to come to the feast, they don’t come because they are keeping their own feast.

If we study the temple we actually receive tremendous blessings in understanding Christ in his second return.  That is why it says measure the temple.  And when we measure the temple, we measure the temple with something called a reed. The length of this one I am showing you here is not the full reed.  A reed is much longer.  It’s going to be more than 12 feet long.  But, we are told to measure the temple with a reed.  Rise, and measure the Temple of God.

When we study the Temple per Rev 11:1 “there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel (same as Ezk 40:3) stood, saying, “Rise, and measure the Temple of God” we’ll see that the Cornerstone is measured with a Reed!

The reed, yes it can measure the temple but it’s also the perfect measurement of the foundation stone of the temple.  It is a measuring reed.  If we were to picture as Stone and we have our measuring reed, this measuring reed is going to be a perfect square in height and width.  Measuring with a measuring reed then, what is the foundation stone of the Ezekiel temple?  So, we are going to discuss that here.  The actual dimensions of the foundation stone in the Ezekiel temple as well as the foundation stone in New Jerusalem.  Christ is this foundation stone in the Ezekiel temple.

Christ is the Foundation of the Temple and 3 times foundation is mentioned.

Isa 28:16 Foundation (yis-saḏ) in Zion stone (eben) stone (eben) tried cornerstone (pinnah) precious  (yaqar) a foundation  (mū-sāḏ) foundation (mū-sāḏ).

The Ezekiel Temple has 3 foundations are “Precious” yaqad stones are in the Great Court and Inner Court. Notice how they are described in the First Temple 1 Ki 5:17 great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house. Here the Septuagint uses timios g5093 τίμιος from 5092; valuable, i.e. costly, or honored, esteemed, or beloved: — dear, honorable, (more, most) precious, had in reputation.

It’s used to detail New Jerusalem Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light (star light φωστήρ phōstēr) was like unto a stone most precious (timios), even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal (krystallizō);

The verses we read there there are actually foundational levels and foundation stones that go through every layer and step as you ascend. You see, we have steps and as we go up, that is a foundational level, platform or foundation as we had discussed. Christ is this foundation stone of the temple of the temple complex.  Also, the temple building and the outer court, inner court and the temple itself.

He is also this idea of the rock of a fence.  This is also very clear with the millstone.   Over here, what I have if you look closely, I have a millstone that actually works as a millstone.  He also is a millstone to grind the wheat and the chaff.  The idea of this rock and the millstone is Christ destroying the kingdoms of this world because the angel has a mighty millstone that he casts into the sea and Babylon is fallen.

______________Millstone________________

And it speaks about Christ being this stone.  This Petra, the stone which the builders had rejected, the same has become the head Cornerstone.  Christ actually quotes this himself in Matthew 21:42 KJV

“Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

In Mat 21:42 Christ quotes Ps 118 in how He was rejected by the Jews, in the same way He’s rejected by the Christians.

“The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?”

The church has rejected him.  It’s marvelous in our eyes, those that know him know his true coming.  They know his appearing is at hand.  They are going to take the time seriously and wash their garments and prepare and they’re going to fall on the stone because what he says a few verses later.  The one falling upon the stone shall be fractured in pieces.  They experience brokenness.  And upon whom it shall befall it shall winnow him.

Mat 21:44 KJV

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

The stone is doing two things to two types of people.  It is breaking, it is crushing those that fall upon the stone, that know that it’s OK.  It’s not my will, let Yours be done. I die daily.  They are allowing themselves to fall on the stone and to allow themselves to of a broken and contrite heart.

He then says “Fall on the Stone” in doing so “die” to yourself

But then there are those that the stone will come upon and it will winnow them. And that is like the millstone.  What this is talking about is something very deep and profound and it is in

Daniel Chapter 2:44 where Christ is the stone which is hewn from the mountain, made without hands and he breaks the image in Daniel Chapter 2 at the feet and then the image of gold and silver – it comes crashing down.  It actually uses these same terms of the grinding with powder.

This is the winnowing and the dashing of pieces.

“And the one falling upon this stone shall be fractured in pieces; upon whom but ever it should fall it shall winnow him.”

° Fractured/Broken g4917 συνθλάω synthlaō; to crush; to dash together, i.e. shatter: — to break to pieces,

(° Winnow/Grind to powder g3039 λικμάω likmaō; from λικμός likmos the equivalent of λίκνον liknon (a winnowing fan or basket); to winnow, i.e. to triturate: — grind to powder,  cleanse away the chaff from the grain by winnowing.)

(Winnow here is used in Dan 2:44 “but it (Stone) shall thin and winnow all the kingdoms,…” referring to Christ subduing the kingdoms of this world when they are “broken in pieces” and “winnowed.”)

Daniel 21:44 KJV

“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

They’re being broken because of the chaff of the summer threshing floor and the wind carried them away, and there was no place found for them and that stone that smote the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Dan 2:35 KJVThen was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Again, the stone became a great mountain.  The great mountain is Mount Zion and upon Mount Zion is the temple.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter:

Again, Christ is talking about himself being that Cornerstone.  Being like the millstone, the winnowing on the threshing floor and also the stone that breaks and pieces.

Now, lets speak about Petra.

_________Petra______________

Petra of course, if you know Jordan, you know of this place called Petra.  In the Greek, Petra means Stone.  Christ is that stone.  When he is speaking to Peter and he says you are Peter but what we want to do is to look at the Greek and we want to say the Greek terms.  You will see this makes more sense.  You are Petros.

Petros is basically the masculine of Petra both of which mean “rock” or “stone.”  You are Petros and upon this Rock – Petra, will I build my church.

Matthew 16:18 KJV

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Is this built upon the person that is Peter?  Or is it built on the person that is the rock?  Well, the person that is the rock, we can clearly see is Christ.  He is the foundation.

Christ the Rock, Petra in Greek, “thou art Peter (Πέτρος Petros), and upon this rock (πέτρα petra) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven:”

The word Petra in Greek in the following verses Ps 27:5; 136:16; 137:9; 141:6: Isa 2:10, 21; 16:1; 22:16 and the Seal of Ezekiel in Ezk 3:9

– Moses told to “speak ye unto the rock (petra)” in Num 20:8 which was Christ 1 Cor 10:4

– You brought forth water out of the Selah Neh 9:15,

  • “Send ye the Lamb to the ruler of the land from Selah (rock) to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion” Isa 16:1

Now, this Peter it does have a role in that the 12 Apostles have seats in the gates and they have the keys to open the door. We went over that in the previous video.

  • 12 Apostles have the Key’s to the Gatehouse in the North and South Gates of the Ezekiel Temple as also their names are on the Foundations of New Jerusalem, thus”I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven” Petros, precious cornerstone.

We have the foundation of the gate and this is a foundational level so that at the same point there are keys that open up into each gate – into each level.  You have those that go from outer court to the inner court and that is a foundation.  That’s a gate.  Then you go to the inner court, there are gates and you have a foundation where you go up, you go up the steps and the same thing with the temple.  You have a foundation and you go up the steps for the temple.  This is the Petra.  This is Christ, the Petra, he is a stone.  He is the Chief Cornerstone to the temple which is the Ecclesia as well.

I have many other things here which were included in the blog to and you can read them right here in this transcription of this video.  The whole blog is included right here.

I say to you Peter, upon this Rock I will build my Ecclesia.  Let’s talk about him being the foundation.  Clearly we have this expression in many parables like Luke 6

Luk 6:48 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an House, and digged deep, and laid the Foundation (θεμέλιος themelios Rev21) on a rock (πέτρα petra): and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

New Jerusalem has foundations.  The Ezekiel temple has foundations.  Thats the level which you go up the steps.  He laid his foundation on the rock – the Petra.  Laid the foundation on the rock, the Petra and again the Petra is Christ.

▪ Peter or strongs g4074 Πέτρος Petros is a piece of rock thats larger than λίθος lithos g3037; also is a name, Petrus, an apostle: — Peter again meaning rock.

  • Petra g4073 is feminine of Petros g4074; Rock πέτρα petra; a mass of rock. In Hebrew the word is Selah h5553 סֶלַע sela‘; meaning to be lofty; a craggy rock, a fortress): — (ragged) rock, stony, strong hold.

▪House on Rock (petra) which is the foundation

And when the flood arose upon that house it could not shake it for it was founded on the rock – on the Peta.  Christ is the rock in the foundation of the house.   See that?  Very simple – the foundation stone.  Base level of the building.  then you have its foundation.  But there’s a particular stone – Cornerstone – Chief Cornerstone in that Foundation which the house is built on.

I am going to come back to this but I want to go to the New Testament verses and continue on him being the Cornerstone.

1st Corinthians 3:11 KJV

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

He is the foundation, not Peter.  He is the Petra.  He is the Stone in the foundation.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble

13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest:

Again, we’re getting that Christ is this foundation.  The foundation stone and this is what the church is built upon.  Let’s go as well to Ephesians 2 we get the same thing – Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.

Ephesians 2:19 – 22

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God: 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone

The apostles and prophets of which Peter is. There are 12 foundations and there are 12 apostles, so there are the foundations of the teaching of the 12 apostles.  Jesus Christ himself being the Chief Cornerstone.  We get the foundational levels and yes Peter is part of the building of the Ecclesia of the foundations that we see in New Jerusalem.  But again, it is Christ which is the Chief Cornerstone and whom all building, fitly framed together grows into a Holy Temple.  There is a Temple.

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Clearly once again, we get Christ being the Chief Cornerstone, the Chief Corner of the foundation of the house.  When we look at the first temple as well, we can see these precious stones in the foundation.

1st Kings 7:12 KJV

12 And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.

He built the inner court with three rows of hewed stones.  Here we are getting the foundations.

5:17 KJV

17 And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.

Costly stones, precious cornerstones and this of course is New Jerusalem.  In New Jerusalem we see that there were the 12 foundations which you can read about of the precious stones that again were in the first temple.  We also see it in New Jerusalem.

________Cornerstone Reed and 144 Cubits__________

As we mentioned with the reed, that once we go to determine the size of the cornerstone it is a reed because the angel has a reed that goes about measuring.  And a reed is six cubits and six cubits is a little more than two feet per cubit.  So 12 feet foundations in the side chambers were six full reeds of six great cubits.  On the wall and a mans hand of a measuring reed of six cubits by a cubit and a hand breadth, he measured the breadth of the building one reed.

The Reed is “6” Cubits in the Cornerstone Ezk 41:8 “the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.” This also the Wall Ezk 40 “wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.” Herein the Cornerstone is 1 Reed in Ezekiel Temple. Ezk 41:8 “I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits”

The reed of 6 cubits is the measure “metron” of man in Rev 21:17 “he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is angel.” Man = 6, Angel = 24 and 6×24=144

The building is a foundation and in that foundation is the Cornerstone.  A reed of six cubits is the measure – Metron of a man in Revelation 21:17

Revelation 21:17 KJV

And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

And the Cornerstone of 144 Cubits in New Jerusalem, the “edifice,” “he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man which is angel.”

We can see that in New Jerusalem and that this wall is four cornered.  In Greek tetra arganos means four corners.  The city was four corners as it lies in its length as much as width and he measured the city with the reed unto stadiums 12,000.  Its length, its breadth, its height were equal.

Rev 21:16 “And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed,” ” The length, and the width, and the height of her were equal” foursquare here is 4-Cornered g5068 τετράγωνος tetragōnos; from 5064 and 1137; four-cornered, i.e. square: — foursquare, quadrangular

Ps 144:12, “our daughters may be as corner stones, polished (περικεκοσμημέναι g4030.3) after the pattern (תַּבְנִית ṯaḇniyṯ) of the Temple (hêḵol)”

“And was the edifice of her wall jasper; and the city gold pure, likened glass to pure.” (Rev 21:18, ABP)

Thus we’re getting the 144 cubits is the Cornerstone measurement with the reed of New Jerusalem!  New Jerusalem, Christ being the Chief Cornerstone, he is the 144 cubits, he is the six cubits and the Ezekiel temple.  Thus we get the actual measurement in the size of the Chief Cornerstone as Christ IS the Chief Cornerstone.

This is amazing and we are able to take from this the clear understanding of Christ being the Chief Cornerstone and also the precise size and measurements.  They were told to take a measuring reed, measure the temple, measure the altar.

_________Architect_________

“Is not this the carpenter?” Ah yes the Carpenter, as such He is also the House and the Foundation of the Temple and the Tabernacle and New Jerusalem. Carpenter here in Mark 6:3 is really a craftsman in general, g5045 τέκτων tektōn; an artificer as producer of fabrics, i.e. a craftsman in wood: — carpenter, wood a worker in wood,a joiner, builder. Or a ship builder and any craftsman, or workman. This part of the strongs definition I found interesting, “the art of poetry, maker of songs” like how Christ spoke in Parables but it’s also a planner, contriver, plotter, an author. It’s of note that all those skill sets go into the Temple and worship and notice the Lxx use of the word in Zech 1:20; 1 Ki 7:14: 1 Chr 14:1; 22:15; Ezra 3:7; Jer 10:3

We want to speak about the Architect now.  They asked and said in Mark 6:3 Is this not the carpenter and we know him.  We know Mary, we know his brothers and sisters.  Is not this the carpenter.

Mark 6:3 KJV

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us?

he is more than just a carpenter.  What we want to do is also as he is the precious cornerstone, he is the building itself.  He is not only building the house, he is also the designer or we would say the architect.  Of course, when we hear carpenter, many of us think of a type of craftsman in Europe and North America where it’s wood.  You have more wood at your disposal.

If you go to the middle east, you will see it’s not wood.  Everything is made out of stone.

He is the stone and he is the stone builder.  Is this not the architect?  I – yes the carpenter.

And it is through these Greek words that we get the word architect.

Arche-technes which combines arch top head or chief with technē g5078 τέχνη or from 746 archē and 5045 tektōn.

g0753. ἀρχιτέκτων architektōn; carpenter; a chief constructor, i.e. “architect”: — master-builder; a master builder, an architect, the superintendent in the erection of buildings

If we look at this word, he is both the house and foundation as we discussed.   There are patterns.  There are specific detailed patterns that we’re given as to what to do.  When they said, “Is this not the carpenter?, the word in Greek is tecton.  This is a word for any type of craftsman.

Even Abraham “looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God,”

Heb 11:9 and again we have a word associated with “tech” and technical, technology, technician, g5079. τεχνίτης technitēs; from 5078; an artisan, a founder (Creator): — builder, craftsman, an artificer. G5079 in lxx 1 Chr 22:15; 29:5; Jer 10:9, 24:1, 29:2

Craftsman is kind of a better word than carpenter.  Carpenter makes you think of a wood worker only.  It can mean a producer of fabrics.  So, it can mean fabrics, wood, a wood joiner, or a ship builder.  He said I will make you fishers of men.  It could mean any craftsman and I found it interesting that one of things it says in the Strong’s Concordance is that it says the art of poetry – a maker of songs.  The art of poetry.  Of course, we believe that is Christ coming and speaking.  He said he always spoke to the multitudes in parables.

He came speaking in poetry.  Speaking in a prophetic language, a parabolic language.  And notice it says songs.  We believe that this is the worship as well.  He is the one that is not only the carpenter of parables.  He’s not only carpenter of wood and stone, he’s the carpenter and he is the craftsman of song.

That is what we see throughout Revelation as we showed you and discussed earlier how the time made the word to honor is timios, is the precious Cornerstone.  the word precious is timios.

The interesting word techton here and another word associated with it in Greek is techne and this is where we get the words in English.  It’s the root word we get in English for technical, technical school, technician, technology.  We see this word used for those that looked not for the Heavenly House.  The time, the era, the period of time of the Heavenly House would come.  Even Abraham looked for a city whose foundations and builder and maker was God.

Here we see the word associated with tech.  Technit’es – An artisan, a creator, a builder, a craftsman.  Through it we get these Greek words we mentioned like Architect.

Strong’s Greek: 753. ἀρχιτέκτων (architektón) — a master builder

… Noun, Masculine Transliteration: architektón Phonetic Spelling: (ar-khee-tek’ tone) Definition: a master builder Usage: master-builder, architect. HELPS Word-studies 753 arxitéktōn (from arxi, “first” and 5045 /téktōn, “a craftsman” …

He is the carpenter, he is the architect, he is the one giving the blueprints.  What we are doing is we are sharing with you the 3D of the blueprints.  Measure the temple.

Another person of course, associated with the heart they detect in us or architect is a possible Paul and we see this word used in 1 Cor 3:11

We see this word associated with Apostle Paul in establishing the new era of the spiritual house.

1 Cor 3:11 KJV For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest.

Yes it is gold and silver that is in the foundation in New Jerusalem.   The gold is like a transparent gold and again we get precious stones here.  Timio the same word used in New Jerusalem.  And also wood, hay and stubble.  Every mans work will be manifest.  So, when Christ calls he comes with a fire which burns and whatever is left from the fire is the precious stones from mans work.

2 Cor 3:10-2 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise architect (ἀρχιτέκτων architektōn), I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones – g5093 τίμιος timios

Again, the precious stones are in the foundation. A little different than our thinking, it’s not just big blocks holding a building above.  They are the precious stones.  The precious ones are clearly in the foundation.

Eph 2:19 KJV Your fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy Temple (ναός naos) in the Lord:

So we see the apostles.  We see Apostle Paul here, Apostle Peter.  We’ve looked at Isaiah. Zechariah talked about the four carpenters. The word techton was used of the four carpenters as in Zechariah Chapter 1.  Then we see right here, the four carpenters.  But we are fitly formed together into the Holy Temple.

Jesus Christ the Chief Cornerstone of the Temple and notice other architects…

So, what is the architect?  The person gets the pattern, gets the blueprint saying this is the way by which it looks.  This is the information.  We were given this and we have seen this order happen with Moses.

Ex 25:9 KJV

Moses was told “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the vessels.”

So Moses was shown the Heavenly blueprint.  What did he see?  He saw something in real life, 3D in the spirit in the Heavenly realm.  And David did as well.

1 Chr 28:10 KJV

“Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern” (blueprint)

And…  Ezekiel gives us this pattern.  That is what we are to measure with the measuring reed and it says:

Ezk 43:10 KJV Thou son of man, shew the אֶת־ (Alef Tav) House to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure אֶת־ the pattern

(The Alef Tav, the Alpha and Omega, the temple to the house of Israel.)

They would take this information, they would be ashamed.  We’d repent because the kingdom is coming.  The king is coming.  He is coming in power and glory and have not built his house.

And we are admonished to study the Temple

The things you have seen in this presentation in this series, you have never seen it before.  Why?  Because we are all building our own house.  We have not built his house.  We would be ashamed of our ways because the kingdom is coming and we’re going to be caught off guard.  Many of us.

Let them measure the Alef Tav pattern.  Measure the blueprint.  That we would repent.  the kingdom is at hand.  We should be ashamed.  It’s a disgrace.  None of us have seen the Ezekiel temple in the proper measurements by something very very simple.  Just taking the information from the first temple and applying it to the Ezekiel temple and we can get the height of the buildings.  We have never seen it.

This is why we are admonished to build the temple.  Now we’ve built the temple.  We’ve built the temple so you can see it!  You can see what it looks like.  You can go inside.  If you go to the main page of leelandjones.com and go to What’s New scrolling down on the homepage.  When you see light blue highlights, those apply to the temple drawings.  The Temple, the North Chamber, The Gates, The Scribes Chamber and the Kings House.

The Kings House has been updated with many things in there.  We have the whole armor of God.  You see up there and up there we have the shields.  (Pointing to two shields on the wall behind him.)  We’ve added all the armor of God.  The Kings House is the Armory.  So, if you go in there, you’ll see the doors open, then the doors open now to the temple.  You can go inside and see the throne and you can see the table.

Now other people represented some of these things on other sites, but not all of them with the proper dimensions. So, that is what we are saying.  We should be ashamed that we’ve never seen this before.  We should be ashamed.  Look at the number of views when you watch this video.  Why is this so few?  Because it’s a remnant.  The people are building their own house and not Christs.

Paul said:  All mind their own things and not those of Christ.  So, they will be ashamed at his appearing when Judgment Day comes.  Their works will be wood, hay and stubble burnt up by the fire of his coming.  But, this message is to those that we hope are listening, that are repenting, that are ashamed of the works of their hands because they are seeing that they’re coming up short.  That’s why we do these videos  and that we repent – the kingdom is at hand.

We want to obey the instructions from the throne and when the throne says measure the temple, we want to do it.  The throne says to worship.  We want to do it.

The throne, it says these are the instruments.  Psalm 150.  We want to do it.  We want to sing if harps of God are given to rejoice on the sea of glass, on the floor.  Glory to His name, we want to do it.

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the Temple of God

The voice came from the throne saying Praise our God – all you His servants that fear His name both small and great. ~ Leeland Jones
