Leeland Jones video posted on April 22, 2022:
{Music playing….}
In the next series of videos, we are going to talk about the Steps to The Temple and the worship in Revelation chapter 19. And what we found is an amazing correlation, a relationship between the Steps and The Temple.
In the outer court there are Steps, in the inner court there are Steps, and within The Temple itself there are Steps that lead into The Temple. Then there are other steps that lead into the Holy of Holies in The Temple.
We are going to show you that and explain it. Hopefully you watched the previous video on how Christ is the Head Chief Cornerstone. Each layer, or level that is in the outer court, inner court and The Temple itself, has a Foundation. And He is the Foundation of course, of The Temple.
What we see is this is the leading and worship and combination to the Wedding Supper. And then we see all this worship in Revelation 19, and that is why I am showing you the harp here (He points to his harp sitting on a chair in front of the steps.), because we have a perfect relationship between the Steps in The Temple with the worship happening in Revelation 19.
For example, in the Psalms you might know within the Psalms are The Psalms of Ascent. The word ascent in Hebrew is maaleh (Strong’s Hebrew 4608 and 5930) and maaleh means steps. Each step relates to the Steps going into The Temple from the outer court into the inner court. Then leading from inner court going to the inner court and then into The Temple itself, which has a porch with Steps. Then what it has is the Steps leading into the Holy of Holies.
We are going to explain all those and the perfect order of all this, but what this showed us is that there is a direct relationship between the Psalms of Ascent, Psalm 120-135. Each Psalm begins with a title called Psalms of Steps. Maaleh which means Steps, or in English it is ascent. All these Steps are Psalms 120 through 135, and then we have Alleluia where the final Steps lead to Alleluia.
The title of the Psalms, if you look at it in the Septuagint, in the English it says Praise the Lord. In the Hebrew it says Hallelujah and, in the Septuagint, it says Alleluia which is the same word as the Alleluia in Revelation 19. So, we have the perfect connection of the Psalms fulfilling prophecy in Revelation 19, as well the Alleluia, the praise and the worship that’s happening before The Throne.
That is why at the intro to the video we said, “A voice came from The Throne saying, praise our God, all you servants that fear His name, both small and great.” That is a voice from The Throne. That is what we are obeying. That is why we are getting the actual instruments that are in Psalm 150, and list those instruments leading unto the 2nd Coming of Christ into the Wedding Supper. Isn’t that exciting?
This is what we are going to explain to you. We are going to show you the architecture of The Temple, how all this works, and the actual worship that is taking place.
{3:30 min mark} In order to explain what we are talking about (he shows a diagram with various steps going up from the bottom middle to the top right corner, labeled 120-150 separated into 4 groups) we have to graphically illustrate this, because I am sure The Temple and some of these things are not really understood by the people.
As we said, what we have here is a perfect order of the Psalms that is going from; The Psalms of Ascent, which is Psalm 120 here at the bottom, going up to Psalm 150. Those Psalms are relating to the prophecy we see in the Book of Revelation. Particularly, we have Alleluia, which is in Revelation 19. That is what we are talking about with the Alleluia, and that is what we are illustrating with the steps outside.
There are additional steps where there are sections of ten steps going into the porch of The Temple. There are 15 steps counting the outer court and the inner court; seven and eight. Now, these actually relate to the worship that is happening. Here we actually have seven and we actually have worship happening in the Ekklesia. That is the section of Revelation which is Chapters 1 through 5. (He points to the bottom right of the diagram called Ekklesia)
Then we have the Seals of Revelation (Pointing up to the next group called Seals) and we have songs there. There are actually words in the song, that if you add them up, they add to seven. (In the Ekklesia) and they add up to eight (in the Seals.) There are words in the song that add up to ten (in the Trumpets group) and words in the song that add up to the final six steps (which is the Bowls) leading to The Throne of the Holy of Holies.
This is what we are talking about. There is so much information coded in what it is that I just explained to you. It is going to take me a number and series of videos to teach and explain this. (He goes to a diagram of the courts of The Temple)
{5:29 min mark} We mentioned the courts of The Temple and what we are talking about where there is an area called the outer court. And that is this area here, and there are gates to the east, to the north and to the south. (He points to the 4 walls of the outer square area shown in green.) And there are steps that lead into that gate, that lead into that inner court area.
Then there are steps that lead into the inner court area, which is this area here. (He points to a rectangular area in the center of the court.) There are seven steps leading into the outer court and then eight steps leading into the inner court, and each has a foundation.
{6:15 min mark} Then as you go into The Temple, (Pointing to a smaller rectangular area inside the inner court area) and the porch, right here, (He zooms in) in the porch area, there are ten steps. Then into the Holy of Holies there are six steps.
{6:26 min mark} If we were to take a side view (He goes to a side view diagram) of these levels and the steps or stairs that go into the Inner Court, Outer Court, and into The Temple, and the Holy Place, the Holy of Holies, this is what it would look like. So, we have the seven steps that lead into the gate and the foundation of the gate would look like this. (Points to the diagram) Steps would lead up into it and you would enter that level of the Outer Court.
There are eight steps and there is a foundation and these eight steps lead up to a level, and that would be the inner court. Then in The Temple, this is what we are calling Christ is the Chief Cornerstone of The Temple. In that Cornerstone, there is a foundation level, and half of that level goes up with ten steps and that enters into the Holy Place.
Once you are in the Holy Place and you continue, there are six steps that lead into the Holy of Holies. We know those six steps are here in 1 Kings 10:18 “the king made a great throne of ivory and overlaid it with pure gold.” 19: “the throne had six steps.”
Here are the six steps as we have illustrated them here. The six steps going up and leading to His throne, which will be in the Holy of Holies. (Points to the upper right of his diagram) 18: “and its back had a rounded top.” It has a rounded top and behind The Throne area is round. Once we realize that there are actually ten steps here, by looking at the Septuagint, the King James Masoretic text does not read exactly the same. But once we realized it was clearly ten, we were able to place this perfect order of the Psalms in the perfect order of The Temple.
{8:24 min mark} Now I will show you the ten steps. (Points to a new diagram called The Vestibule of the Temple) We are here in Ezekiel 40:48 and we are in the ESV. The ESV takes the Septuagint translation of the Greek Old Testament and basically translates that as the core text for the English translation.
48: “Then he brought me to the vestibule (Or porch) of the temple and measured the jambs of the vestibule, five cubits on either side. And the breadth of the gate was fourteen cubits, and the sidewalls of the gate were three cubits on either side.” 49: “The length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the breadth twelve cubits, and people would go up to it by ten steps.”
Here are these ten steps if we look at the Septuagint, of the Ezekiel Temple. The Ezekiel Temple also makes it clear that there are seven and eight steps going in the gates of the outer court and the inner court as well.
{9:17 min mark} In order to understand this, we have to understand something called Sacred Architecture. (He moves on to a new architectural diagram in light blue tint) It is something pretty much unknown in modern Christianity, but the early church recognized the principle of the Most High and His design elements in the architecture of:
- the Moses Tabernacle,
- and Ezekiel’s Temple
- and the 1st Temple that Solomon built.
For example, here is just a general layout of the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place of the 1st Temple and the Ezekiel Temple. And here is an example of a Byzantine era church. (Points to an architectural diagram) Once they started building churches, aside from synagogues, they started doing so according to the pattern of the Ezekiel Temple. (He goes to a new diagram labeled The Church as the Heavenly Tabernacle.
{10:03 min mark} They recognize The Church as a Heavenly Tabernacle and that there was a Throne, and around the Throne were 24 Thrones. They would have a main Seat and a round area for 24 Seats. They would also have an altar and then sometimes something underneath that, and then you have a kind of outer court type area.
{10:33 min mark} Here are some examples of the rounded area where the Elders of the early church sat. (He goes to some slides in central space.)
{10:41 min mark} Here is a layout quite typical of the Byzantine era. You would have the round area for the Elders, you have an upper place for the reading of the Scriptures, and you would have a Table.
{10:55 min mark} There is a remnant of a church in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives called Eleona Church, that does have these same Sacred Architectural elements within it.
{11:09 min mark} (Points to a new slide of an aerial view of the church.) You have an area where you have Steps leading up, you have a Table and then you have a Throne. This is similar to what we showed you before.
{11:23 min mark} We are in the Courtyard area (Shows another slide of a courtyard to a temple), and what we are doing is we are facing the Steps that are leading up to a Table, and there is a rounded Throne behind it.
{11:38 min mark} Next slide… So here we are standing at the base of the Steps and here you can see this Table. They are getting this Table from Ezekiel and they are getting the Throne from what we first read to you earlier in 1 Kings 10:18-19.
At the time when we were in Jerusalem, we had not realized the significance of the Steps. (He counts ten steps.) There were 10 Steps and because we are used to the King James and the Masoretic text, we did not really have clear understanding of why they used these 10 Steps, until recently when we studied the Septuagint version. It is quite clear that the early church is following this Pattern as they go about reconstructing their Holy Places, their Assemblies around the actual Temple that we know Christ will reign in during The Millennium.
This is what draws our attention to the importance and significance of the 10 Steps, and then it was a perfect relationship between the number of Steps and the Psalms. So we knew that we had an absolute perfect order.
{12:47 min mark} Here is just another view of the Table and the Throne.
And a side view of the Throne where you can see that it is rounded in the back. (Looks like the flat back side of a chair with an arched rounded top portion.)
{13:00 min mark} So, those are the 10 Steps! And those 10 Steps are leading from the porch into the Temple. Inside the Temple, as we explained before, there are another 6 Steps. We are seeing a relationship of these Steps. As you can see, we are marking them with the worship and the combination leading to Christ in His Throne, where He will say “It is finished.” Revelation 21:6
It is coming and it is leading to The Wedding Supper, and it is leading to Armageddon. And that is what is happening here, in Revelation 18:20, we get the 1st Step, which is: “Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.” What happened is there is a worship in a word, and this first word is “Rejoice”. The second one is “Alleluia.”
Revelation 19:1-2 “And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God. For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth.”
They are Singing, and what is happening is each time they have a declaration word “Rejoice”, “Alleluia”, it is relating to another level or Step of the Prophecy. Remember the architecture of the buildings relates to Prophecy, so these are the 6 Steps. The second one Revelation 19:3 “And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.”
Now the smoke is coming from Mystery Babylon, BURNING. She is burning at the end of Revelation 17. Then in Revelation 19:4 “And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.”
Here is another Alleluia, our 4th Alleluia, and then we get Revelation 19:5 “And a voice came out of the throne, saying, praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.” Praise our God is another way of saying Alleluia! Alleluia is Praise Him YAH, Halleluyah. Which means praise Him or God, which is very similar to this: Praise our God.
Then we get the 6th one; Revelation 19:6 “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.” Or Yahweh El Shaddai reigns.
This is leading to The Wedding Supper! Revelation 19:7-9 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
This is leading to the steps of The Wedding Supper of the Lamb! We are going to have another video to show you how this relates to the Bowls of Revelation. The 24 Elders have harps, and what you are seeing is the worship with the harps, and they have Bowls. The 4 Living Creatures give those Bowls to the 7 Angels, which pour them out upon the earth.
{16:08 min mark} So, it is all about the Worship!! That is what is amazing about the times we are living in now. We are in the Time of the Apocalypse, the Revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is His Revealing, higher and higher, of the Glory of the Throne and His soon return and coming to the Earth.
It says, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth. But Rejoice, you that Tabernacle in Heaven, you that have a Heavenly Mindset. The principles that we just showed you about the 6 Steps leading to the Bowls, there’s the 7 Bowls, but the 7th Bowl is a voice coming from The Temple and from The Throne.
{16:54 min mark} The Bowls are poured out as judgments leading to the Wedding Supper and leading to Christ and His Glorious reigning on earth. Eventually being in The Temple, in Ezekiel’s Temple in Jerusalem.
One of our first examples of the worship in Heaven, is Revelation 4 and 5, and in it we get the 7 Steps of the area that is in the Outer Court entering outside The Temple, but entering into the Outer Court area. And there are 7 Steps. Those are the declaration Psalms: Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honor, Glory, and Blessing.
Revelation 5:12 “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.” Those are the first 7 Steps.
Then the next Steps are in Revelation Chapter 7:10 “And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” Salvation! Then you get verse 12: “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.” So again, those are relating perfectly to the 8 Steps.
And then we also have the worship in Revelation 15:3-4, when they are given the harps of God, “And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. (He sings the song and plays the harp to demonstrate)
So, that is the Song that they are Singing, and they are Singing it with the Kinnor in Hebrew or Kithara in Greek, which is where we get the word guitar in the English. This is the Worship, and that Worship is going to continue as we explained into Revelation 19, with the Alleluia.
We have a whole playlist of all these Songs, of all the worship and we have put them to music in a musical. We have read the Scriptures, Sing these Songs, and we keep Singing this over and over. We keep studying the prophecy. We keep studying The Temple. It says measure The Temple and the altar and worship in it.
That is the idea of Sacred Architecture, that if we study architectural elements and design, The Great Creator of the heavens and the earth and the whole universe, it is He that has placed this instruction into The Temple. It is something of great significance because it is going to happen. Prophecy has got to be fulfilled. Christ is coming.
That is what we are doing and we have all these Worship Songs and you can just listen to them like an album, or a CD or whatever. You can just play them, and Hear these words over and over, that we are Singing.
{20:40 min mark} We get to Revelation 19, and they are singing “Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto the Lord our God”, Alleluia, El Shaddai, Alleluia, YAHWEH, El Shaddai.
That is what we are doing, we are Worshiping! So if you haven’t been seeing lots of videos, that is because we are mostly doing the music. We have the new instruments from Psalm 150. We are going to have another video on Psalm 150, the instruments, the sounds, as well as the prophecy related to the Bowls. {Songs and music notes are at the bottom of this blog post}
With each Alleluia, we sang Alleluia and we showed you Alleluia and how those relate to the judgments on earth. (Holding up a small bowl) Woe to the inhabitants of the earth. Those in heaven are singing Alleluia, they are Rejoicing! Because they know that the Wedding Supper is soon to come.
This is really exciting and we are going to have a series of videos on this. It might be deep concepts for you, but it would be really good if you went back and watched “Anointing the King” which is in the playlist of the 4th course on the website. You go to LeelandJones.com, and then go to the Bowls section which is Course Number 4: go to the Bowls, and you will see a showcase or playlist on Vimeo called “Anointing the King.”
It is all about Anointing the King and there is a series of videos and we show how Christ has DEFEATED the Beast, already. Now Mystery Babylon is cast down. So the accuser of the brethren is cast down! Mystery Babylon is cast down! That is why we rejoice! Because the Beast is cast down and the time is short.
So, guys thanks for watching and now we are going to conclude each new video with: “A VOICE CAME FROM THE THRONE SAYING: PRAISE OUR GOD, ALL YOU, HIS SERVANTS THAT FEAR HIS NAME, BOTH SMALL AND GREAT!
